We need to understand that the reason behind Etebor's erratic decisions and movements in the midfield is because be is being played out of position. Nigga just runs about chasing every ball , steals and runs recklessly without positional awareness...just like a kid left alone in a candy store he grabs and licks at everything. I will not play Aribo in DM when Okechukwu and Agu are there.

your love for that Dude has come to stay
grin

Aribo is a CM and he is very effective in an attacking set up and etebo better to defend a lead

on the bold i'm really surprised how etebo just completely lost his scoring touch. someone who scored goals for fun with the u23s and olympic team. even on his debut (i think) against egypt he popped up with a goal just don't understand why this is so. even if we say it's because of the deeper role etebo plays in midfield Aribo has shown that one can still venture forward.

i'm the more puzzled considering from recent past antecedents he has shown an appetite to get forward yet Obi Mikel who barely gets forward had more goals than etebo during rohr coaching stint

Etebo is playing much deeper now. He was more of a forward when he used to score.

But some people believe that Pinnick is the best thing since Alice bread and its not gos fault that they haven't been paid. Also, it's not Pinnick's problem that we have performed woefully in almost every aspect of soccer this year grin grin

Even if you catch Pinnick red-handedly stealing from central bank, let him remain as NFF oga. cheesy cheesy

Some people are carpenter analysts and I'll be playing the carpentry list soon for football analysis on Nairaland grin grin

According to several reports in the Turkish press, including Milliyet, former Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri was right to declare Victor Moses surplus to requirements in the first half of the 2018-2019 season.

Moses's offensive attributes have been questioned by the Turkish media after failing to score or provide an assist in his last four matches in the Super Lig following his return from injury.

Now they are making reference to statements credited to Sarri a year ago in which the Italian gaffer stated that Moses was not a versatile player and only suitable for a wing-back role.

Sarri said in November 2018: ''Moses is more suitable for playing wing-back than like a winger or a full-back, I think. I don’t know (if they have a future at Chelsea). They (Moses and Drinkwater) have to improve but their characteristics are a little bit different''.

Two months after Moses was written off by Sarri, he was shipped out on loan for the fourth time in his Chelsea career, this time to Fenerbahce.

While the right winger showed glimpses of quality in the second half of last season at the Yellow Canaries, he has not lived up to expectations this term due to injury and loss of form.

A return to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window is now being mooted but he is not in the plans of current boss Frank Lampard.

Pinnick may be owing a few months salaries but don't play a blind eye to his achievements over the years

You might as well compare him to previous chairmen for context

I remember when Moses was feeling like Okocha and Messi combined just because Super Eagles were short of talents....I never cared about that akpuda right from onset and I always get the last laugh....come dribble your rubbish again make I see...shitty player! Iwobi is equally shitty but at least he is patriotic.

Very soon Moses's obese wife will start knacking his head with high heels....lmao

Why are you insulting a player's personality?

I know it is still early days, but see how lost Tammy looks against a defense Osimhen made a mince meat of. To think that Osimhen preyed on this defense with a whack team compared to what Tammy can boast of in his teammates makes the whole thing funny

ejaria's rating against leeds last night

Ejaria 7

Yet again produced some sublime moments of magic on the ball to get past Leeds players with ease. A constant threat going forward and was unlucky not to score when he had a shot deflected wide in the second half.

Five. Add Ramon Azeez.

every midfield

As it stands, Ndidi, Iwobi and Aribo are the only ones with actual certain positions in the midfield, then Etebo. Technically, we have just four midfielders

Abraham is too light weight for a point man. If not for his light weighted-ness, he wouldn't have landed as awkwardly as he did to get himself a nasty hip injury, under such a weak challenge
