DC produces more than 30MT and the market values it at N2.4trillion.
WAPCO is 10MT and the market values it at N224billion.
OBU will be 8MT and they valued it at N1.2trillion.

When Obu is eventually listed,Mr market will place it where it belongs. That overvaluation can not stand for long.

40m at N1 per share of OBU gave rise to this N1,465. This has been restructured to 20.1b. This will translate to N2.93 per share. I am surprised at this until I see the financials.
Heishere:

The analysis was done using 2018 financials of both company. Going by that financials, CCNN is not more profitable than OBU. Infact EPS of OBU is N1,465 in 2018 compared to CCNN of 0.44k.

OBU is not acquiring CCNN. They are both owned by the same person. They are simply merging the two together. The price was calculated from the cumulative figures after the merger

When bull comes, people don't usually believe it. They watch if it is a bull trap until price gets so high and people will start to chase it. They price so high in the process.

It is going slow and steady now. Soon it will pick up.

Let's see how December goes.

With most stocks (charts) turned upwards and staying above the kumo, it is a good sign.

Banks have all gone above the kumo on the daily. The weekly is gradually being cleared by some banks.

We will keep watching the strength of the bull.

The problem is not the listing price. Rather, it is "the scheme of the arrangement". What amount of the new entity would be given to ccnn shareholders,
...and what happens after listing, given the 35billion OS.
Remember that wapco is a bigger cement company than the new entity, yet market has left wapco at 14. So do the maths

You hammered the two problems with the deal. The arrangement provides for the exchange of a disproportionately high quantity of ccnn shares for one share of Obu. I am no longer sure of the exact figure but it like 516 ccnn for one obu share. Death of a promising stock.

Some cross deals witnessed in Glaxosmith this morning and at day's high, 6.25 (previos close was 5.70)
I dont know what that means, but just to update you in case you want to keep eye on it. [/quote

Just last night I did a search of Nsempa of gsk/Glaxosmith and I found out that it was long ago in January 2018 that the stock was discussed in any details by members. Since this stock is one of the few blue chips that have not rallied with the current bull, I wish that our gurus will analyses and comment on the stock. How sweet will it be if the lots of Ogg, cp, rebekah, loco, rugged, oracle and others can let us have the benefit of their views of this stock.

You;ll have to go to the first pages of this thread and read so you can get a grasp of what investing in Stocks is all about.
Thereafter, you'll open a trading account with a stockbroker , fund it and start trading. Morgan Capital recommended.
Always feel free to ask questions on what you dont understand here.
Dont be too forward or take rash decision, read financial/investment books and always follow this thread..........and, you are good to go. wink

This time around you MISFIRED .

UACN successfully raised N16.4billion via right issue at N16 per share which was just enlisted in March 2018.

With the latest UNBUNDLING of UACN ,UPDC and REITS. there are more VALUE to UNLOCK come APRIL 2020.

For instance if you have 1million units of UACN you will be ENTILLED to roughly 600k units of UPDC and roughly 300kunits of REITS.

At this stage UACN doesn't fit in as a JIJO STOCK but a STOCK but a stock that will give HUGE CAPITAL APPRECIATION cum DIVIDENDS.

UBA shares was suspended to effectively restructure the organization and to spin off some of the subsidiaries that does not align with UBA's core business. Those subsidiaries are;
1. Africa Prudential Registra Plc,
2. Afriland Properties Plc
3. UBA Capital Plc

As they come back to business now, you will still retain your 10,000 units of UBA Plc.
Also, if you've purchased your shares before December 31st 2012, you will own part of those spin off companies as well. Your new shares will be in the order below;

1. UBA Plc = 10,000 units
2. Africa Prudential Registra Plc = 303 units
3. Afriland Properties Plc = 303 Units
4. UBA Capital Plc = 1212 Units

This is based on UBA ratio of 33:1:1:4

Bia, this is not the kind of elementary questions expected and even all the way from 2012. shocked
By the time you reach 2015, we wouldn't have more pages left here again nau. Lol. grin
It's true you know no jack about this biz but I'll suggest you keep a pen and book beside you and be writing your questions down, as you read further you'll be getting answers to some of the questions by yourself. Some of the early guys were not even here again and those here may be too busy to attend to your questions.
You can however still ask but ask much more important ones.
Anyway, for the questions asked here, Units is the number of pieces or shares purchased. E.g. if you buy 100 oranges at 10naira per one, you pay N1,000 to the seller sheybi. Relate this to buying shares too.
The second question, all those datas/info are available on relevant websites such as company websites, Nigeria Stock Exchange, with the analysts, and all that. Financial books of each coys are made public and can be analysed by individuals/the gurus.
Think I tried. smiley

The coy had sold its juicy unit to Suntory Beverages. The coy plan to hand over the production of most of its products to Fidson healthcare in the next few years. GSK has made its future plans known that it is a candidate for delisting. Buying its shares for anyone will just be to cash out like DFM.
