I listened to Osimhens interview on YouTube and his discovery was by accident not through any structured process. He mentioned how someone encouraged him to for for U17 trials in lagos and according to him, he saw millions of people (of course he exaggerated) at the agege stadium and at the end of the day, Amuneke said no trials except if they travel to Abuja. So first attempt Vic was not even given a chance to show himself. He didn't give up and he found a way to go for the Abuja trials. I cannot recall, however, her graduation picture is in my house and framed with the year of her graduation. I am in Yola now and have no access to that picture, but when I get home (perhaps in December) I will find it and take a picture, probably post it here if my father allows.

The major reason females now inherit property in Igbo land is because of the landmark case of Ukeje vs. Ukeje, decided in 2014, where the Supreme Court held that denying a female child of her inheritance is against the rules of equity, natural justice and good conscience, it is not because a group of elders sat down and changed the culture.

A young woman felt slighted by the culture and had to take her mother and brother to court to secure that judgment and the victory for Igbo women around the world.
