Even though I would never watch football alone or any other sport, I enjoy watching it with my husband for the simple reason that we get to spend time together. I am also very curious by nature so I like to learn from him about the different sports and athletes and anything related to it. There is is always something I get out of it. I don't watch zworld or kardasians but we have always found movies/series/documentaries we both wanted to watch, at home or in the cinema.

I believe that spouses don't have to share every interest but it makes a relationship richer if they can have common interests beyond the boys/girls time things. They can discuss politics, psychology, read the same books, watch the plays they read in a theatre, work out together, try out new recipes together/master a foreign cuisine, watch stand-up comedy, go to concerts, talk about music, visit museums, travel, start a blog, go bowling, go jogging, play cards, do gardening.

It is best to discover whether you share something during the dating period so you don't have to force it later. I understand better now why some people have the same or similar careers or at least similar educational background. And like I said maybe oyibo couples place greater value on such things during the dating period making sure that their marriage will not be dull till death do them part.
