But atomic energy isn't all about generating electricity. That's why countries which think ahead like those first world nations don't abandon researches on atomic energy. Tanzania does the same.
Atomic has so many uses,e.g. biotechnology, medical,agriculture etc use radiosopes and radiations.Your CT scan,MRI,even on a normal process of plants mutation we still need atomic energy. So many stuff in that deep science

Nairaland reduce the picture quality if you see the original picture quality you will keep quiet. This time when I go to Nigeria I will be using Sony camera 64 megapixel 4K full HD width 52 optical zoom

You are partly true.Hydo in most cases is cheaper than gas.
But gas is more reliable than hydro.
Gas is more cheaper than nuclear or diesel or wind power
Gas is more cleaner than nuclear,coal or dieasel.

So,all in all,gas is very suitable to run factories because of reliability and of course it is somehow cheaper
