IboBoyNuel: The Canadian Immigration law doesn't consider far distant relatives like (maternal uncle, aunts, cousins etc) as a close relation. The only set of individuals that are seen as close relatives are - Spouse, kids, parents and slightly siblings. Following this, the answer to that question should be NO, because uncle can never sponsor you to become a permanent resident of Canada in any of the Canadian's immigration programs. 1 Like |

Qudkom: Thank you for this, I really appreciate your contribution. I looked up both universities and read about their programs. For Thompson Rivers, my sponsor can't afford that and for Cape Brenton, its not explanatory enough as the course outline are not listed to know the exact fee . Going by your expertise, I would be glad if you can help me with the fees calculation for Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Management(2yr program) . Thank you once again |

emeify1: Hello Emeify1, The most important thing to work convincingly hard on is home ties to show solid proof of economic establishment. However, showing landed property is good but showing landed property that is economical is more better. Either way, both are good. If an a study leave can't be gotten from an employer, not too much of a big deal. The employment letter, 'reference letter' and work ID is enough to prove employability. There are good other aspect one can show good intent to return back, especially for family application. The following listed can be resourceful. Good economic establishment or prospect 1. Investment (shares, treasure bill, bond, fx d.) 2. Insurance Policy 3. Business (family or personal) 4. Real estate ( rental property ownership) Sociocultural reasonableness 1. Inheritance 2. Organizational membership (holding sensitive position. 3. Active community participation 4. Family Level of establishment 1. Landed property 2. Good financial flow 3. Stable source of funds. Thus, for the purpose of visit, try to write a succinct letter to why you want to be with your spouse in Canada. This will consolidate the invitation letter, your spouse valid SP and other supporting documents. Then show sufficient funds that would cover your LE. 4 Likes 1 Share |

churchstreet: Hello Churchstreet, To an extent, age doesn't play much role. Based on the details you provided regarding your academic history, going for a second bachelor or a diploma isn't advisable but note that its also not impossible to secure you a visa. It all boils down to how well you present your application and the perspective approach the VO would apply to scrutinize your application. As it stands, a Master is more suitable to count as an advancement. But however, a PGD/C should be considered only if you decide not to declare your previous PGD. As for your SOP, only state what is relevant to your application. It is good you focus more on the weak-links in your application in order to provide better clarity. Its advisable you apply to at least two schools for improved possibility of admission. Good luck! 1 Like |

Cherryola: Hello Cherryola, The gcms notes points to your home ties. In your reapplication, convincingly prove that you are gainfully employed and good home ties. Any body can be an inspiration or mentor whether dead or alive. As long as you can make sense out of the mentorship thingy to count as positive in enlightening the VO, go ahead. Cc: Frankrobben1 please kindly upload the link of your previous post that addressed the aforementioned refusal reasons to afford too much reporting. All the best |

Please advise a brother on this.... Traveling out has been on my mind for some years now either for studies (mechanical engineering)which is the only course I ever want to study or for work (menial jobs)... My problem now is how do I cope with mechanical engineering over there even though my maths background is very poor (never liked mathematics including other calculation courses from primary till I finished my ND).. On the other hand, if I travel out with the aim of working over there instead of studying, how easy will it be for me getting a better paying job considering the fact that I don't have much qualifications... The countries on my mind are Germany and Canada |

Dear All, Please I need your advise on how to apply for study permit. I got my acceptance letter today from college of North Atlantic (Geographic information Specialist post diploma) for one year program. I have BSC in Surveying and Geoinformatics. I have been working in a bank for five years now. Can my experience in the bank count since it's not related to the study program ? After paying for my tuition fees due for Feb 13 2019 what documents do I submit ?. |
