Re: Transfer Of Ownership Between Delta Force And Kwara United
The League Management Company (LMC) has today November 29 2019 received a notification from Delta Force FC for endorsement and approval, of transfer of ownership of the club to Kwara United pursuant to the NPFL Framework and Regulations. We are also in receipt of an application from Kwara Utd FC for change of venue and name of Delta Force FC.

The LMC is currently reviewing these applications to ensure the minimum relevant rules, regulations and procedure for acquisition, change of ownership and name in the NPFL Framework and Rules are complied with.

The review would also evaluate the validity of the reasons advanced by Delta Force FC in relinquishing the ownership of the club to ascertain that it serves the overall interest of the League and to ensure that the rights and privileges of the players and technical personnel of the clubs are protected.

As it stands and pending the conclusion of this process, Delta Force FC remains the name on NPFL official fixtures and the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba remains the registered home ground.

That they escaped relegation last season does it mean that they would not go down this season?

You escaped relegation and sold one of your best players makes you favorites for relegation

Btw I didn't say they would go down last season

Very nice point.

That is why I have called for our Zone to zone screening process to take place in a more comprehensive manner with the screening time longer than it used to.

This will give the coaches more time to screen and also a chance to see more players. Making the final selections top knotch.

Also, there needs to be a solution to cut out contacts from Agents.

We do this while we work on coming up with a proper youth development system like having a proper inter local government league which will culminate in a National Youth Champions League.

There is a lot to do. Like Academies having their leagues with different levels.

Unfortunately, Pinnick is more interested in globe trotting than carrying out development work in the local scene.

All the stated opinion are not new. We actually have an amateur league, which more or less is a small league where teams and what some of you call academies in a particular region play against each other.
How much attention the NFF has paid to this league is what I can't say but truth remains that the amateur league is the bedrock of our football, being that it is the breeding ground for officials, coaches and players. Coaches doing their certification courses start off from there, so also referees and players.
