That’s what I always say. Any reason to celebrate is fine by me.
I have this jehovah witness friend who tries to talk me out of Christmas because it’s not Jesus’ real birthday. Lol. Do I look like I care? I’m sure Jesus himself doesn’t mind that we celebrate him on the wrong day.

Even thanksgiving itself was not a very upstanding celebration in its origins but we’ve moved past all that (IMO) and I would celebrate it even if I lived in another country.

I cooked plenty things this morning. I am that type that loves to cook alone, from start to finish. She kept hanging around that I began to pity her sef. So, when she offered to fry the plantain- I felt it is just plantain. How bad can it get? Left her in the kitchen and went to take a call. Came back to that burnt offering.

It is the only ripe plantain in the bunch. Makes it more painful. I should have handled it myself. I hate when I delegate and people mess my work up. I'm pissed joor.
