Allah began in the Arabic lands. He was spread through violence and slave trading. The knowledge of God Almighy, the Creator of Allah doesn't spread through such negative ways. Allah was a local god for years before finally becoming an international god, yet that doesn't erase the fact that both he and Jehovah have a creator. Read the account of how they were created in the Book of MCC 1: 14.

Book of MCC 1:14. if you keep reading such books you will be lost forever. That book doesn't have any single word for me to believe.

YES! Jesus is the son of God, but Jesus is God also that's why he said "I and the father are one"
So Lord is God and Good is lord
Sorry I don't usually go into religious debates and arguments, but this is confusing. Assuming my dad send me to a meeting and asked me to stand for him, on getting there, they ask for my father, I now told them I speak for him as his representative. Does that now make me my father? Or just his representative? Just asking pls

Lord means one having power or authority over others. Jesus is lord because he said.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me by my father.

God means supreme. Jesus is God because the bible says that in the beginning, the word already existed, the word was with God and the word was God.
JESUS CANNOT BE GOD AND MAN AT THE SAME TIME. BIBLE ALWAYS REFER JESUS AS THE SON OF MAN.

THE LAW OF NON-CONTRADICTION STATES THAT NOTHING CAN BE BOTH P AND NOT P AT THE SAME TIME. JESUS IS A MESSENGER (RASUL-ALLAH IN ARABIC OR NABIY- PROPHET OF GOD JUST LIKE MOSES, ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB.

Have been wondering if there is a difference between the two. My reason is this: we believe that Jesus is God and in St. Paul's letter he said " Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Also Elizabeth filled with the Holy Spirit said " who am I that the mother of my Lord should visit me".

So people is there any difference.
Jesus is not God but his prophet. stop annoying God by associating anyone with him

Sometimes, God's word appears contradictory, but it is not.
In the terms you are speaking, "no" it makes you your dad's representative.
But we are speaking about spiritual matters..which oftentimes, trump human, finite understanding.
He says in His Word that He is one with the Father...meaning their power is 100 percent equal.
That is the mystery that we aren't able to understand clearly.
Different roles, yet 100 percent equal power.

John 14:6 (KJV)
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:7 (KJV)
7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

John 14:9 (KJV)
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

He was born and died just like any other human being. He bleed and felt pain like any other human being. He was a Prophet like Muhammed and other prophets. He's not God by any sense of imagination. You can call him your god if you wish, that's your problem.

Allah aka Abd Allah is that man(turned god) whose philosophy was propagated by Mohammed. That god is first an Arabic god before muslims made people see him as God Almighty through killings, jihads, destructions of lives and properties, terrorism and rape. Go and read the origin of Allah in the Book of Universal History and read the account of his second reincarnation to the earth and thank me later.

Common Era II
Chapter One

1. Now between the 280,500th year of the homo sapiens era and the 281,000th year, many things had happened on the earth. Many popular religions had become unpopular and many new religions had emerged.
2. Now Islam, being the religion containing the philosophies of Allah emerged within this period. In those days, a man named Moh, being a Zoroastrian, sought for a child, being married to Ramata his wife for twelve years.
3. He had rendered prayers to Mazda his god from time to time, but he had no child. Now at the twelveth year, Ramata the wife of Moh conceived and had a son in the 280,567th year of the homo sapiens era, which is also called the 567C.E.
4. When Moh had seen his son, he named him Ahmad, saying, I will thank Mazda my god continually.
5. And so was the child called Moh-Ahmad born in Yanbu, which was not far from the lake called Yanbu.
6. Now a man named Abd-Allah, being also a reincarnate of Allah, had no son. And Abd-Allah was a man of many words, having written a lot of philosophies. Now in those days, the people of the Arabians gathered before Abd-Allah to learn his words, for they regarded him as a god.
7. But the Zoroastrians and those who worshipped Illat and Hubab hated him, saying, why does Abd-Allah, a mere man, equate himself with a god? He shall die suddenly for this.
8. However, Abd-Allah continued to get stronger. And those who learnt his philosophies submitted themselves to him to be his slaves. And he said to them, all humans are my slaves, for they shall know it and become so in their souls.
9. Now when Moh had heard so much concerning Abd-Allah, he left Yanbu with Moh-Ahmad his son and came to Medina to see Abd-Allah to learn from him. Then Abd-Allah began to speak great words.
10. And he said to Moh, your son is one who shall make known my words to the world. Therefore I have laid hold on him and you cannot return with him anymore.
11. Now Moh bowed his head before Abd-Allah and said, blessed be you Abd-Allah, the most merciful and the most beneficial. For you have chosen my lowly son out of thousands of people.
12. You have said, let Moh-Ahmad be the propagator of your words. Who is Moh-Ahmad my son to be privileged to bear your words? He is like an ant before you. Take him with you and use him as you wish.
13. Now Abd-Allah put his right hand on the forehead of Moh and said, your name shall be famed together with the name of your son Ahmad forever, because you have chosen not to withdraw him from my presence, but rather, you have released him to me Allah, the greatest.
14. Now return to your land in peace while Ahmad your son shall remain with me. And Aminah my wife shall take care of him. I can assure you that there shall be no sufferring come upon Ahmad your son.
15. And Mohammad shall his name be called forever.
16. Now Mohammad was Seventeen years old when he came to be with Abd-Allah. And Abd-Allah taught him all his philosophies, saying, you must observe all of it.
17. Now when Moh had returned to Yanbu his land of nativity, Ramata his wife asked, saying, where is Moh-Ahmad our son whom you took with you to Medina? Then Moh said, do not call him our child anymore, rather, call him the slave of Abd-Allah our god.
18. For he is now a slave to Abd-Allah, the most merciful and the most beneficial, whose seat is in Medina.
19. Now Ramata said, what have you done O Moh? Why have you decided to take our son away to be adopted by another man who has no child? Have you forgotten how we suffered for many years before having our only child Ahmad?
20. You have behaved foolishly in this matter, O Moh, for you have exchanged the glory of Mazda the Almighty with Abd-Allah a mere human being.
21. Now bring our son back, else both you and me shall not have rest of mind in this house.
22. Now Moh said, Ramata my wife, you have spoken ill of the only one god and you shall not escape being punished for this. For you disbelieve Abd-Allah as God.
23. So Moh reported Ramata his wife to Abd-Allah, who was also known as Allah. Then Allah sent his slaves saying, go towards lake Yanbu and take Ramata forcefully, for she has spoken blasphemy and she shall die.
24. So Ramata was taken forcefully by the slaves of Allah. Then she was tied to the stump of a tree. Then Allah commanded, saying, cut off her left breast. So they did, even before the presence of Moh-Ahmad her son.
25. Also Allah said, cut off her feet. So they cut them off also.
26. Now when Moh-Ahmad saw this, he cried aloud and struggled with the executors. But they overpowered him and pushed him aside. Then Allah commanded that the head of Ramata be cut off.
27. So her head was cut off. Then she died and her blood was mixed with the food of the cows and rams. Then the people rejoiced and made merry.
28. And Allah said, she has paid for her own sins. For no one struggles with me, Allah and go free.
29. Now Mohammad(as he was called) grew as one of the slaves in the court of Allah. There he was being indoctrinated with many of the things which Allah had written.
30. Now the memory of the masacre of Ramata his mother continued to haunt Mohammad, even when he was thirty years old. And he ran away when the slaves of Allah went to fight against the Zoroastrians.
31. And Allah said to his other slaves, go after him and make sure that he does not escape. So Mohammad was caught and brought back to the court of Allah. And he was flogged with many stripes. Then he was chained like a dog and fed likewise.
32. And Allah said to him, you cannot escape from me. For you shall be the one to make known my words after I might have departed this earth. For the souls of every one is in my hands.
33. And if you refuse to do according to my will, you shall die and be cast into a burning fire forever.

After explaining to you that ALLAH means the Arabic word for Almighty God, why do you still remain ignorant? And to correct you, Muhammad(S.A.W) was born in the year 570AD not 567CE. CE means Christ era and AD means After Death. Both are used interchangeably, There was never anything like Abd Allah, Abd short for Abdul means slave. So get your facts right before coming to pour rubbish for us here and don't believe everything you see online. Propagandas are everywhere. Pick the right one not the fancy one.

Lord is a title given to someone of high prominence...just like 'it is used in courts.

God is referred to as king of kings and lord of lords.

So no, they are not the same because 'lord' is just a title that can be given to mere mortals.

But when you say 'God'( especially as it has a capital 'G'), you refer to a supernatural being, the creator of all things.

God has a name and his name is not 'lord'. It is just a title.

A big difference. We, the French calls God mon Dieu while we call Jesus christ mon seigneur, my Lord. If your language does not have room to differentiate God almighty and the Lord Jesus christ as recorded in the beginning of the greetings of the epistles, change your language. Ephesians 1v3, blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ.....

I use them interchangeably.
As long as one understands the Godhead..and the functions of all three..and their ultimate sovereignity.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
I use the word "Lord" oftentimes, to refer to Jesus Christ...also understanding that He and the Father are one.

John 10:30 (KJV)
30 I and my Father are one
@OP I'm going to answer these believing you know that the 'Trinity' is false....

Anyways,

'God' is a being

'Lord' is a title

There is only one true 'Good' whose name is represented by the Hebrew tetragrammaton 'YHWH'.......

Notice there are no vowels....so the internationally agreed vowels inserted to make pronunciations easier are 'a' and 'e' ....which gives 'YAHWEH' (remember this is Hebrew)

Finally when translated into english gives us 'JEHOVAH' ...'Jèhova' in Yoruba and igbo etc....

Remember God is not a name but a being...same like saying Human.....but to differentiate a human from another we have names.....

Lord is a totally different case....it is a title...and a rather flimsy and unbefitting title considering there are human lords and also Jehovah is not a dictator.....lordlings are usually dicatators....

Mr. Fool, refer to the original post I quoted, your brother in Christianity termed Jehovah, Jesus, etc as local gods and not me.

Now you see how dvmbass and illiterate you are because you couldn't even decipher between the lines instead, you jumped into judging someone wrongly.

We're Muslims, were disciplined and we've been taught in Quran 6:108 not to insult any god besides Allah other faithfuls worship. I quote:

And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge..

So calm down, you'll never hear me or any other Muslim who truly knows the teachings of Islam insulting your religion or your God. Besides, Islam recognizes Jesus as Prophet Isa (peace be upon him) as one of the four mightiest prophets of Islam.

It's sad and unfortunate that even those who called themselves Christians don't fully understand what their so-called religion has to offer let alone propagate it to others.

In a religious context, Lord is a title that is used for different gods and deities. Lord often refers to the almighty or the creator of the universe or the savior of mankind. Jesus is often referred to as Lord more often then he is called God. Lord is one that rules over others.

First meaning, Truly the word of God was there right from the beginning, passed from prophet to prophet, and the word of God was truly with God, even though a prophet dies, the word won't die, and the word was God, all Revelations (word) reveals nothing that to worship and be obedient to the God Almighty.
Second meaning...
And who is that God ?

Let me help you with further scripture from that same chapter so that you can correct this error you put up here.

John 1:1-3,14

[2]The same was in the beginning with God.

[3]All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

If truly Jesus was God or wanted to be worshipped it would be clearly stated, not all this ambiguous statement, which was made ambiguous by various writers, changing lot of things in the scripture, they know they can't add any statement, they can only twisst already written statement. Just point out where Jesus said '' I am God" or "Worship me" they always bring in ambiguous statements. And we all know ambiguous statements have more than one meaning, the tend to choose the one that favors the devil, and they ignore the one that says he is a flesh like us and like other prophet, sent to us to reveal the Revelations of God.

This are the various title of Jesus in the bible
the Lamb of God (verses 29, 35)(mean God is our Sheppard while we are the lamb)
the Son of God (verses 34, 49)
Rabbi, meaning Teacher or Master (verses 38, 49)
the Messiah, or the Christ (verse 41)
the one of whom Moses wrote in the law (verse 45, referring to Deuteronomy 18:15: "The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren: him you shall hear"wink
Jesus of Nazareth, son of Joseph (verse 45)
the King of Israel (verse 49)
the "Son of Man" or "Son of Humanity" (verse 51),

why can't you get the fact that devil just made you pick just one. Why can't you guys use son of Mary or the rest, why do you always make emphasis on son of God.

Meanwhile, John1:14, I will give you my meaning, the word of God became flesh, ie. He came to reveal the word to the world, by living in their midst, the statement in bracket was added, you can search it yourself, and the statement in bracket also doesn't mean he is God, and we all know God never impregnated anyone.

Bros, I don't need this long epistle, and our discussion has nothing to do with wether Jesus is to be worshipped or not.

I just asked you a simple question, according to John 1:1 who was the word and who the word was ? simple.

Then your last paragraph is very laughable grin........ Did you just say according to your own meaning ?

John 1:4 And the "word" which was God was made flesh. Is this not as clear as knowing your own child's name ?

What other meaning are you trying to give it again ?

Chai Muslims with manipulation are like 5&6 grin
Firstly, you didn't answer my question. I asked give me an unambiguous statement in the Bible, which Jesus himself said 'I am God' or which Jesus said 'Worship me', you brought an ambiguous verse, if I can give you up to 5 different meaning of those verses, of which only one would mean Jesus is God/word, but the devil wouldn't let you see the ambiguity, he made you choose the one that fits his plans on humanity.
