I no like stress abeg, be like say taxify riders were deliberately selected... I no fit fight anybody Abeg. And positioning de taya me so I'm still TeamUber.

As per opay, I think after the bonanza to riders ends and riders have to pay full fare value, market equilibrium will happen then we'll see how far their $100million will go. For now it may pay drivers but for how long.
Uber is the multi billion dollar gorilla in the industry so I don't think they are shaking anytime soon.
Also, Lagos is a huge market and I still insist that we all combined can't satisfy the demand for rides. As long as my 15k daily remains constant, local man is happy where he stands
which kind of ride do you use boss?

Its a welcome development.
It will also make uber and bolt to sit up.

Esp Bolt. to make an appraisal of their process.

As regards, the funds with Opay, any ehailing company who underestimates these guys will get burnt.

One of their investors is Softbank Asia( these guys practically breathe dollars).
They back Didi chuxing,

Even uber had to sell their biz to Didi chuxing in China.

Its just Opay by name, all am seeing is strides of Didi chuxing.

Give or take, they will grab @ least 30% of the market share in the next 6 mths

Didi chuxing is a giant. Even Uber knows that.

May the best man win. I enjoy Huawei phones but they can't displace google in software development.

As for hardware, they are ahead of the pack.

ornicus:

Every paid app on the playstore must remit a cut to Google. Huawei is saying they will offer better incentives. Do you game? Epic games is effectively doing the same thing. They are taking a smaller cut from developers than steam, with the goal of expanding their base. They are also selling a lot of games for lower prices than on steam

In all of this, we should remember the reason why huawei is having issues. Us intelligence services warn that huawei devices can be compromised. This is an issue for us, as almost every domestic router sold in this country is Chinese. Every Chinese business in this country is backed by their government in some way. That means that if for instance ccecc is competing with Julius berger for a contract, they may be able to steal info from juilus Berger workers using Chinese models to send emails. They can cripple network traffic of opay competitors. Shebi everyone has been complaining of network issues on their apps?

Seniors in the house, Please I need you guys advice.
Have registered on the Uber and Ocar platform about a month ago or so. And I am about going into hirepurchase with a 2003 corrolla owner, to be paying him 30k weekly with a down payment of 150k now reduce to 100k, totalling at 2m. I want to start the enhailing business soon with this yet to collect vehicle... Am also a business man. I buy and sell, but it's no longer lucrative enough for me cause am married with 2kids. So I just need a side hustle to add to my business or better still face the enhailing full time... Please I need your candid advice, and will love to roll with you guys and know when and how and where and also what platform is best for the enhailing.
Your help please, I have ask this question before but no one wants to help me out...
They say who ask no dey lost...
WhatsApp no; 08107894935

30k weekly is not bad but for you to meet up with the demands of HP (which most times include car maintenance) , you may have to work 5-6 days every week.

I suspect the car isn't toks going by the amount you're paying in total.

I would advise you speak with the person to give you the car on rental for few weeks to learn the hustle a bit before committing yourself to hire purchase

It's a used car. He wouldn't agree on a rental. Cause it has been on rental before now but he wants to sell it on hire purchase cause he is not happy with the body maintenance (scratches and bumper hit) from the driver but the driver said said he is not ok with the totaling price, according to the owner.

Yea it's good just that it is quite small. I've taken a ride in it before.

If you aren't so tall/big, you can give it a try.

I advise you speak to mechanics about it tho and people using the ride for both ehailing & personal use.

You're welcome bro.

Ok @ used for ehailing before. You may need to know how long it has been used in Naija & ehailing. You can negotiate for something between 1.6 - 1.8 million

I use 407 for ehailing, sweet ride, nice handling and fuel economy, but don't ever ever try giving it out to a mechanic that knows nothing about Peugeot..
