He said something worse than NO. Dude said it would be strange playing for a country u are not native of. He said he and his sister are Danes just like their mum, not Nigeria even though his father came from there(Nigeria). Dude can't even imagine himself playing for Nigeria Bkus it sounds odd and awkward to him.

“It wasn't until when we [Bournemouth] were going to play against Everton a couple of weeks ago when Alex Iwobi asked if I might be interested in coming and playing for Nigeria,” Billing told BT, as per Bournemouth Echo.
"He said the coach had asked me. It was the first time I heard anything concrete myself.
"It's a pat on the back that another country would like you to play for them. I just take that as a shrug and proof that you are doing well.
“It would feel strange to have to play for Nigeria, even though my father is from there.
“I am half Nigerian and I feel that way too but I was born and raised in Denmark. My mother is Danish and my sister is Danish, so it would feel strange to have to play for Nigeria.”

This dude is the only one that said the truth among all the eligible Nigeria player.... He said it gonna feel strange to play for Nigeria since his families are Dane... Danish are currently not interested in him by snubbing him for brentford player
This makes him available for Nigeria you can't blame for not rushing to Nigeria he is not born here he lives most of his lives in Denmark... There is still hope for him playing for Nigeria he never rejected Nigeria or insulted the FA.
So I want to dig up where he said he doesn't want to play for NIGERIA

Exactly the guy is very sincerely unlike the rest of Anglo Nigeria he lives his life in Denmark I doubt he has ever been in Nigeria Denmark is currently snubbing and Nigeria is giving him an open ticket to play like Rohr has said it not for this Anglo Nigeria to jex play for the country... Try to be in their shoes and feel their pain.
