So the Jesus story is not God's plan.. 2nd Chronicles 7 :14 says "if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and confess and forsake their sins, I will hear from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land".. God says if you sin , confess and forsake, I will forgive... No sacrifice is required or necessary.. God hates human sacrifice..
