I doubt if you can learn programming simply because you want to make money out of it. Without the passion to code, you will get frustrated and eventually dump your plans for another.

So far I am Master in HTML, CSS, PHP, JAVASCRIPT. Currently learning React , ReactNative, Flutter and Laravel cos I have a dream to travel out someday and this skills are in top demand.


Focus on easy language to help you write your code very short.

For example ReactNative enable you to write your app in Android and iOS at once. This help you to cut cost of employing Android developer and iOS developer. Example Instagram, Facebook Messager.

But Google came out with Flutter... Another monster you just write your code for Android and iOS ( I think also for Destop App) at once which enable developer to write faster code without needs to be switching view in ReactNative or Trying to Re-arrange your code when there is new version of ReactNative.

Follow the trend to eat. and also have your own personal project.. that one is the big jack pot if you succeed.

I have a passion for programming, I'm currently studying computer science at NOUN because I think computers will play more important roles in the future and I would love to leave my mark. Right now, I'm trying to balance my passion on one side and my need for money(steady inflow) on the other side of the scale balance and the need for money outweighs my passion. I don't know if this makes sense.

I understand. What I am trying to say is that learning to code is a long term investment. You can't learn it in 3-4 months. It takes time. And through all this time, you will have 1 million reasons to give up. Algorithm, syntax errors, lack of zeal, frustration, time are some of the most common reasons why people get fed up and quit. If you are going to learn, then be prepared to encounter these problems. Cheers!

I have a passion and flair for programming, but I neva get mind to start, it's like new languages and sequences are coming out every day and you won't know the one to pick from. And honestly my main reason for wanting to learn programming is to make money out of it, not just a hobby. I have the tools at my disposal (a strong laptop and good internet), I'm tech-savvy, and I believe age is on my side (I'm 20 and I recently wrote my final uni exams on August, I didnt read Computer).

So my main question now is, when I want to start learning, Which language would be better to learn first (as a launch pad for other languages)?

You can list them for me, I'll really appreciate. Thanks once again.

Some people actually feel that becoming a professional in programming is about dancing around different languages.

Without solving a real world problem with a certain programming language, the one who is conversant with 10 languages is not better than a person who cannot code.

Application is all that matters not the number of programming languages you know.

But what if you just want to hack? You should have good knowledge of all programming languages

You can actually do almost everything you can do in a laptop with your mobile phone but some people won't just do their due diligence.
I have built a web app with just my mobile phone. I used termux to run the local host server in the background while I use chrome to access my app.
This app is a kind of showcase of my graphic works which I also design on mobile phone.
I installed django with pip using pydriod and wrote my scripts with it. Then hopped over to an writer to write the templates(HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
There is nothing to it. I am thinking of starting a tutorial on how to learn programming with Andriod phone. I will notify you when i start.
I have built two web app with my mobile phone only. I learnt bootstrap, w3css, HTML, CSS and python with my Andriod phone.
I even pushed the code to github with termux.
I will paste the repository link later here so you can see for yourself.

Im 32 anybody can learn programming for any reason..i am a control engineer i programme for just money. Just be FOCUSED

U can do it just be focused and keep on keeping on i learnt python and machine learning this year and my life never remained the same.
