Somebody that didn't contact you for 5 years has suddenly called and promised you payment & you believe? let him pay first before you get excited he may even pay you less than half the amount he owes and promise to pay later while you might not hear from him again for another 5 years, he is buying time and might be praying for your death, be careful

atleast it shows gratitude even if he cannot pay completely at the moment. no matter how much or how little someone is owing, once he makes attempts to start paying, respect them for that. it shows that they have you in mind to pay back but couldn't at the moment but will pay completely as time goes on. I once borrowed a close pal 20k from my fees, he paid 10k after some time and the remaining 10k was hell, not that he didn't have but did not want to, in fact there was a day he invited me to celebrate with him and his friends that his club won their match, he spent over 10k on that table while my money to complete my fees was a story after the other.

I have over 10 guys I paid ticket for around 206-10 scattered all over the world...most of them were living under the same roof with my family...my father was a care free man who him self let young men seeking jobs live at the boys quatera,some learning apprentice,some mechanics,some graduate looking for job..most of this guys were my brothers friend.some would sleep in the living room,some around the dining and in our room.sisters mum and dad settled for upstairs while we do any how from the sitting room down to the basement and dining area where room,kitchen and stores was..small small they would get visa a and go one by one.I would steal from my dad and sponsor them out from visa fee to ticket to clothes to airport taxi..none called me and my brother back after they left our house. Eventually my brother and I also travelled out but different parts of the world. I came back to Nigeria and nine ever called unless I call someone and I would hear. Someone says he knows you here..one of them.I would just say hey and hang up.

Last year I was in a mad financial crisis.mad one...I was homeless.I had problems with family and they wanted me to apologise while I wasn't at the wrong. I stood my ground

I was sleeping anywhere night met me...as old as I am,I was caring in the road one early morning walking aimlessly on the street of Ibadan when a call came and said can I guess who this is.I said no.he said soso..I said hey baba..he say baba..no veck I no call you for over 10 years now..na d matter strong for this side.I say I understand.when I come that area about some years ago.I purpose no try reach you also...he say no long talk..send me your account never and give me 5 mins..I did...I enter aboki shop collect Benson switch and cross leg..7 minutes I see alert of 1.3 million naira..my rent was just 350k..

He called and say make I no vecks that he sent some things home that his brother will locate me in the evening and should go and take any thing I want in the house he built..

That's life..don't curse when you help...one day you will reaap all you do..whether na good or bad..

2015 was a different year for me, after my grandpa died, he willed his farm to me. When he was very much alive, I took interest in farm work and i had to move to th village to work on his farm and his poultry. So he willed it to me and the other family members didn't give a damn. (most of them were doing good in Lagos). So 2015 I sold alot of farm produce (I'd say since he willed the farm to me, I worked harder than I was working before when he was very much alive).

I saved up most of the money, made sure my wife and kids were okay and I threw about 80 percent of the cash i made in the bank.

September 2015, I was roasting yam (me and the people I employed to work in the farm, we took a break) and my dude from way back was on the other end, we spoke for hours that I couldn't continue with the other guys.. He needed money for plane ticket and other stuff.. Said he would pay me back in folds when he gets to the states and works for a while.

I told him I was gonna get back to him as I needed to discuss things with my wife and Iwas gonna get back to him. God till date I didn't know how I credited him one million.. I just can't explain it till date. He eventually traveled and i wouldn't hear anything from him until last night (he didn't call me at any point and I didn't bulge for 5 years).. He'd call me yesterday and said he's never seen a nigga like me and he'll wire me some funds Monday..

It pays to do good, always
But nowadays one has to question if it's the proceeds of fraud.
