new pixel devices are scarce in Nigeria,I would advise you to order for one from Amazon they have great cameras you could also get the iPhone 7 if you have been wanting to try iOS.

I used snapseed and worked on the details mostly increasing the ambiance and highlight of the photo

sadly yes,it is not as good as that of the pixel but if you use the phone camera for a while you will understand it's worth, besides it's food she wants to be snapping not landscapes with different exposures putting the camera to test.

I miss iOS... used 5,5s and 6 but for the past two years I've been using android (which is not fast like iPhones) the camera on pixel 2xl is tempting

if you really miss iOS then you can go ahead with the iPhone 7,although the camera is not as good. There are fast Android devices you should be using mid rangers, also remember the iPhones you used where once flagships which means it was given the best the company had at the time.

. yup, also increased the shutter speed, it affected the ISO but with the aid of Photoshop express and snapseed, the editing came out superb.

it's supposed to identify the subject in the photo and this will help it take a better picture of it. My Samsung has something called scene optimiser (which is the same thing with AI) and lets say I want to take a picture of a flower, it will automatically identify it is a flower(a leaf will show in my camera app) and this will help in taking a more clearer and crisper photo of that flower.
