I agree with you. This is common sense. but u see, ur environment determines a lot. A place where every issue is politicised, opinions are religious or ethnic biased, one needs to be careful. Imagine in a place like Kano, u dare not carry alcohol visibly in public and walk on the street. It's is disguised in cartoons of malt or biscuit. I understand what you’re saying. Also about those Quranic verses you’re talking about, you should know it was revealed in times of war when the prophet was fighting against his enemies. Every word in that Quran is based on context but the tyrannical terrorist and fanatics always use that as their tool of brainwashing folks to become terrorists.

Well I’m a Yoruba and I don’t mix my religion with that of the Northerners. The culture in the North is also part of why they are that toxic and intolerant to other religious folks.

I attended Ile-Keu, read the Quran, Read the transliterations, did my Walimat, and all through those period my Alfa never for once told me to kill for God.
