Good evening good people. I received "Validity of your Biometric Information" mail since November 5. Since then, I'm yet to receive neither medical mail nor visa approval/rejection letter. Is this even normal?? |

Hello Guys. Have been following up a lots of post here. I need a response to my case. I applied for admission through an agent early year. I'm 31, I apply for fresh BSc in computer science but after a long while. I was told by the agency that the admission came out though isn't what I applied. They gave me Qualifying Diploma in Business Admin. They said I should accept and proceed to visa processing. I had some doubt base on my age if vo will accept it. The name of the school is University Of Regina. I verified the admission in school website. The school gave me 3 resumption session, to resume September which was fall, January winter or May Summer. I want to know about Age limit and advise if I can proceed for visa. Thanks 1 Like |

DanetView:You're a mature applicant with supposed work experience plus you probably have an undergraduate degree. Applying for another BSc degree doesn't show any progression in your studies. Hence, your general purpose of visit isn't solid. At the very least you need a specialised course one that correlates with your work experience and previous education background. Remember you're 31 the VO expects; 1. That you show good financial and family ties to your home country. 2. Proof of establishment in your home country. 3. Excellent presentation of your education and work timeline to justify your study gaps among others. 2 Likes |

Wola34:If you noted the average processing time when you submitted your application and you're sure it as exceeded that time frame then send a webform. Google + CIC WEBFORM (Fill all the necessary information and enter your complaint) |

Cherryola: Hello Cherryola, Can you be specific with your question. That makes it clear to provide a straightforward answer. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 3:28pm On Dec 03, 2019 |
Duuzsz: Hello Duuzsz, Don't bother wasting your funds, 300k is a huge sum. However, just a promissory letter from the local government won't guarantee you study visa. If you go ahead with it, you are likely to get refused. It is advisable you look for a more reliable sponsor who can show substantive financial commitment. Thus, if the local government agrees to show financial commitment by transferring funds for your 1yr or more LE and you paying for your first year tuition fees with proper proof to show for tuition payment for subsequent years, then your next move will be to prove why you were chosen for sure educational benefit. You should have gone for a PGD/C or Masters. This period, an average application might not scale through for a second degree or a program switch. Though not impossible but it will be really painstaking convincing the VO. Good luck 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 3:30pm On Dec 03, 2019 |
BlaqScarface: Hello BlaqScarface, A PGD/C is more realistic. Also, endeavour to go for a course that is closely related to your previous studies. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by JustMellow: 3:38pm On Dec 03, 2019 |
Wola34: Hello Wola34, Contact your school and inform them about the situation, then seek for the possibility for a deferment in case you don't get the visa on time prior to the resumption date. Also, send email of inquiry to IRCC and also use the webform. Good luck 1 Like |
