Every driver has a story. We tell it to encourage others not to give up. Mine goes like this.
It was 10am, just collected the corrolla from the company after serious drilling and screening, was going home to just rest. At that fly over bridge that connects 3MD to Ikoyi, there was a gradual hold up. Getting to the top of the bridge to join the line that goes to Ikoyi. One danfo jumped infront of me. Mehn, I just collected the car and you want to bash it. I swung to the right to avoid a clash and too much English. Gbam! Right infront of me was the men in yellow. Lastma. The danfo zoomed off. I have already been pushed out of the line. Next move, bloody mistake. Had to start begging commuters to let me back into the line. Lagos drivers are wicked. Nobody send me. I was driving alone on one lane trying to join the main line. More mistake. The men in yellow was still watching from afar. Mistake continues. My silly head didn't think. Just want to get home and rest. Only to drive towards them. The next thing, is they started posing me for picture. One of them jumped in beside me. They said, I have created a third line. I was supposed to join the line from the beginning where I met the slow traffic going to Ikoyi. Hence i have broken traffic rule. I was trying to explain my self out. More mistake. The guy stretched his hand and grabbed the car key. Gbam! The trap has caught meat. I almost fainted. Just got this car, have not worked a day. My account was red, pocket empty. Don't even have money for fuel to begin work the next day.I ended up at olowu. If you've never been there pray never to. Not even a request should take you there. Better say Amen! Lastma are the most wicked. Here I understand the meaning of police is your friend. We started debating the price from N90k. We agreed 15k Then started making calls. I called the whole world. Finally raised closed that. Went back to the goat (guy stinks with all the money they make) the lastma boys handed over my case to treat my Bleep up. Offered them 10k with dehumanizing begging. Before they released the car.

Hustle has started since. Seen more obstacles worse than these. The Almighty makes us stronger with them. Keep pushing guys, never give up.

Sorry man. But next time once you sight them afar and no one is allowing you join the lane. Baba just continue straight there must be another route that leads to your house.

Commissioner for Transport, I hail you grin. In this Lagos you just need to be proactive and not reactive. May the good Lord help us all. it is damn painful to see all your days' earnings go at a blast.

There must always b another route ah swear, either u connect carter bridge to ijora or use yaba link to clinical road, highest fuel consumption can't b more than 500. Lately they always beg or yell at me to move at traffic light, cos I don't mind parking the car and walk to the lasma just to ask if the green means move. About airport, I dash cab drivers airport riders, ever since I paid 5k last year February, its drop and go position at 7/8, enough hotels ard dia.

One day I was waiting a bus at Berger and a guy was picking passengers to yaba and those men just show up, na so the guy come down embrace one of the guys standing and begin shout how family na? Ah my brother e don tay o. I was just laughing in my mind.

Lastma guys confuse. They just dey say Oga you're causing obstruction. He said oh OK. How's work officer.

Your biggest mistake is trying to reason with an unreasonable fellow. I hope we understand how this people pray every day to apprehend defaulters (knowingly or unknowingly), it is prayer answered for them.

Mhen I was really weak when I follow up the thread. These people just tame others dreams because of peanuts.

Like a biker told me, he said Opay is gonna get the bike back from the government but the problem is, you go see your bike again? Abi no be our Nigerian police force?

Please I need an urgent help... A loan company wants to sell a 05 Toyota Camry which was confiscated from a defaulter, but it has a faulty transmission and linkages which needs to be replaced.

Please is it advisable to go into such a deal? Figure is below 750k. How much can I use to replace the transmission?

How sure are you that its just transmission and linkages? No answer these sweet mouth o, spend money and go with a reliable mechanic who will even access the bodily damage for you and give you true quotes of the status of the car.
Again... Do they have the original papers? And deed of agreement stating the forfeiting of the car to the loan company?
Was the car used as a collateral when the loan was been collected?

Truth is... I am not sure of how much the transmission is, but I think you first of all should determine what you want? Meanwhile is the car a i4 or V6?
