peterinah: Reliability..... The corolla no doubt will be more reliable. Performance...... The BMW will win here. budget.... i have no idea. a car dealer can give you a price quotation. i will advice a war chest of 300k-500k for annual maintenance of the X3. |

So glad to see this platform here. My love for BMW can not be expressed. I have been used to the manual transmission of BMW which I love so much. Now I intend to buy an E46 wagon with an automatic transmission. What are the things to look out for? is the auto transmission problematic? I need to be educated please . Opeolami: If you are in the FCT, you are welcome to inspect my BMW E46 touring. I have used mine for over 4 years with no problem with the automatic transmission. |

NokiaN8: Airflow meters are tricky. Ensure it is tested on your car and is working well before paying for it. What engine is your E36 carrying, M40 or M42? |

Good day everyone, im new here. I drive Bmw 3 series 328i 2010.... I was actually having a battery problem and I Was feeling reluctant to get a new battery instead I kept jump starting it with my wife’s car whenever I want to drive it out. Not until 3days ago when I did jump started it again the car started but it won’t accelerate at all for any reason. So I called a mechanic around to help me diagnosed its. And we got about 8fault codes and after clearing the codes about 3 or 4 fault codes won’t clear. The first was DME RELAY , valvetronic and generator something something can’t remember. But wen ever the car is on and on idle it’s shaking kind of the work of the car is not complete and a battery sign comes up on the dashboard. Rewire checked and the alternator is charging but when we remove the head battery car goes off. About 3 Rewires has come to checked it the alternator is charging. Even traced the relay and tested it with battery head it brought a sound to show it’s working. Pls can anyone recommend me to a reliable mechanic who has done similar thing? I stay on the mainland ikeja precisely |

Anyone knows any good electrician/rewire that can fix e46 2001 gear problem in Lagos? The star light is on and car won't move. Transmission was changed and it worked for about 4 or 5 months and star light is coming on again. mechanic says it's electrical but cant seem to find any expert who can fix it. |
