How sure are you that its just transmission and linkages? No answer these sweet mouth o, spend money and go with a reliable mechanic who will even access the bodily damage for you and give you true quotes of the status of the car.
Again... Do they have the original papers? And deed of agreement stating the forfeiting of the car to the loan company?
Was the car used as a collateral when the loan was been collected?

Truth is... I am not sure of how much the transmission is, but I think you first of all should determine what you want? Meanwhile is the car a i4 or V6?

I went with kazeem yesterday to access the car, that was when we discovered fluid leakage from the transmission box, then upon test driving kazeem discovered the reverse gear was having difficulties engaging.
However, I plan going there with my sister's kazeem, whom she trusts to confirm and give me an estimate of the cost to get the car back to shape.
It's a 4 cylinder engine, 04/05 XLE.

They also promised to give me a copy of the agreement between the firm and their client. Then I can make a change of ownership agreement with them.

Thanks baba for your response

10500 for driving school and 13000 for license (3 years) or 18k for 5years... And it take 22 to 60 working days. But they will give you a cover note the next day showing you are processing your license
Where is the location of this?

Every driver has a story. We tell it to encourage others not to give up. Mine goes like this.
It was 10am, just collected the corrolla from the company after serious drilling and screening, was going home to just rest. At that fly over bridge that connects 3MD to Ikoyi, there was a gradual hold up. Getting to the top of the bridge to join the line that goes to Ikoyi. One danfo jumped infront of me. Mehn, I just collected the car and you want to bash it. I swung to the right to avoid a clash and too much English. Gbam! Right infront of me was the men in yellow. Lastma. The danfo zoomed off. I have already been pushed out of the line. Next move, bloody mistake. Had to start begging commuters to let me back into the line. Lagos drivers are wicked. Nobody send me. I was driving alone on one lane trying to join the main line. More mistake. The men in yellow was still watching from afar. Mistake continues. My silly head didn't think. Just want to get home and rest. Only to drive towards them. The next thing, is they started posing me for picture. One of them jumped in beside me. They said, I have created a third line. I was supposed to join the line from the beginning where I met the slow traffic going to Ikoyi. Hence i have broken traffic rule. I was trying to explain my self out. More mistake. The guy stretched his hand and grabbed the car key. Gbam! The trap has caught meat. I almost fainted. Just got this car, have not worked a day. My account was red, pocket empty. Don't even have money for fuel to begin work the next day.I ended up at olowu. If you've never been there pray never to. Not even a request should take you there. Better say Amen! Lastma are the most wicked. Here I understand the meaning of police is your friend. We started debating the price from N90k. We agreed 15k Then started making calls. I called the whole world. Finally raised closed that. Went back to the goat (guy stinks with all the money they make) the lastma boys handed over my case to treat my Bleep up. Offered them 10k with dehumanizing begging. Before they released the car.

Hustle has started since. Seen more obstacles worse than these. The Almighty makes us stronger with them. Keep pushing guys, never give up.

You guys should stop building houses for lastma na.
Chai begging with 10k! 10k!

Any lastma that enters your car and start to snatch your key, burst hin face with your elbow. You go tell me whether that is part of your JD. See guys we have allowed this oppression for too long.

These guys are just thieves. The offense you committed is called ‘shunting’. *sigh* 5h for bottle water because of the sun.

Not a bad price for a tokunbo. It will take you about 2 years to pay for the car.

If you don’t have prior experience in ehailing, it’s advised to do rentals first. Forget everything HP for now and focus on rental so you can get accustomed to the business and also a car (you would learn how to check and troubleshoot different problems as you drive).

If you jump on HP now, you might regret in the future bro. Remember, it’s not by HOW FAR but rather HOW WELL. Peace

Very true. Was driving with my friend this morning on gbagada express way to turn to ikorodu road and was flagged down by lastma,I checked only to realize that my friend wasn't wearing seatbelt. They brought out their phone taking pictures et all, I just bone. They asked me to get down I turned the engine off and took my keys, they requested for driving license i gave them the colured photocopy.(I made sure i parked terribly so as to cause mad traffic). They requested for my keys and i told them nobody will drive this car but me. They asked my friend to get down he refused. I asked lastma to go in behind he refused. I lock up. They started videoing again and we both remained silent.
They Called the towing truck but the traffic I already created was crazy as nigerians were shouting and hauling insults at them. I told the latma officials that it Is only when a driver refuses to go to the office that they can tow the car so I won't allow them tow the car. They placed a call to their boss and handed me the phone and he read out the law to me i still didn't bulge by this time the traffic was so heavy that they were panicking. The towing van will have to go through that traffic to get to my car shei. After about 25-30 minutes. i went to the lastma guys and begged and believe me they let us go without paying kobo.

If you saw a blue KIA on the ramp inward ikorodu from gbagada this morning at about 10 am that was me.
If lastma ever catches you eh make sure you park and obstruct traffic flow.
Be stubborn.
Be smart and more importantly never hand over your keys.
Then pray for some luck.
Never follow them to the office. Never.

The driver didn't try by driving empty tank as for car noise some times the owners don't like fixing it, it may not entirely be his fault.

My right leg is killing me, chai. The traffic on the Island today was crazy. Looks like I will be needing massage everyday.

I used 5000 naira fuel to make 11160Net on Bolt and 2300Net on OCar. Total of 13460. Car Used: 2004 Ho da Accord.

PS: How do you politely tell a rider to keep quiet, she's trying to hold a conversation and I don't have interest.?
