Indeed he has... No way is he going back to the bench after following up on his goal in the last game with a hattrick so far today... Mbanu! Not happening. Lad have obviously been working and improving in training.

Indeed the bonafides backup list just got upgraded....

We now have Cyriel Dessers, Kelechi Iheanacho, Sadiq Umar, David Okereke and Josh Maja battling it out as the genuine leads to step in permanently as Osimhen's true backup going forward.

Did I initially say sweet things ahead? Mehn... Scratch all that. Sweet things are already here.... Sweet things na NOW! grin

What we need now is a good local coach and some home based strikers to boost the team grin

Na play I dey o lol

Hahahahahahahahahahaha... What arguments? It is the truth staring you right in the face. Maja was touted as better than Osimhen... Called the next big thing, bigger than Osimhen. It was becos of Maja the phrase, "Lion in a little league was formed" and you are here only concerned with being recognised as the one who hyped Maja and got insulted for it while trying to ignore the fact that entire chapter was also used to rubbish Osimhen.

I vividly maintained the kid is good but he needs to step up to a higher level and prove it. Alongside that, I stated that no way is he better than Osimhen and we can all see that was also true.

Fact is Fact. I won't hide one fact because I want to be associated with another fact which was used to deride another fact.

Fact... Maja is good...

Fact... He was used to rubbish Osimhen by Komekn who you are now trying to share glory of "discovering" Maja with... Hahahahaha

Fact... Osimhen is Better than Maja.

Fact.... Maja is fine addition to the Eagles.

All facts... Balanced. Truthful and non-biased. I lick no asses to cover facts man. Do same. Lol

komekn:

Minutes or no minutes you score hat trick and an assist.

Even if you have a manager who hates he will now do U - Turn and profess undying never ending love.

He has not had much opportunity, but l bet he will start the next match. Confidence is a great ingredient that all strikers need. His confidence must be on top now.

If he can maintain this trajectory then much to my suprise there will be two Nigerian fighting for top scorer in the French league.

yeah you're so right....
so his move from Sunderland to the French league was a wise one after all....

You were painting a picture of how you were insulted naa because of Maja... And Komekn joined in famzing your post making it seem like it was you both being persecuted.

So I had to set records straight naa... To remind us all that Komekn's overpraise and bias towards Maja was beat down because of how he dragged Osimhen into it and typing all sorts of rubbishes and nonsense about the lad just to hype Maja. That is the Holistic view. That is the entirety of the story and what went down.

Chikena. So how are they not connected? grin Abi u no like truth?

I also recall saying Maja is indeed good without dragging Osimhen into it. Whem Maja made his GWG debut, I was among the most excited because it meant more long term attacking options for us through the middle.

So Biko... It is about setting the records straight because some of us here no dey forget some things before some people go come twist the narrative.

Onuachu not in Matchday squad. Odey on the bench as Genk take on Junior Pius' Antwerp in the Belgian Cup.

Match currently locked at 1-1.

And no... Junior Pius is not listed.

Pele and Maradona not good enough to lace Messi and Cristiano's boots

Even though they played when there were no offside rules and defensive organizations they cannot even beat the GOATS' records

And don't mention the 1000 goals that Pele scored against bricklayers in his dreams

Super Eagles striker Josh Maja was in terrific goal scoring form on Tuesday night with a hat-trick which was the first of his career in Bordeaux's 6-0 thrashing of hapless Nimes at the Stade Matmut Atlantique Stadium.

According to the statisticians at OPTA, Maja became the fourth Nigerian player to score three or more goals in the French top-flight in the last fifty years, after Peter Odemwingie, John Utaka (3 times) and Victor Agali.

The match was delayed for 25 minutes due to fans protests in the stadium.

The Nigerian scored in the 24th when he beat an offside trap to open the floodgate of goals. His goal had to be verified by the Video assistant referee before it was given.

Maja then doubled his goals in the 37th minute when he was teed up by young French midfielder Yacine Adli.

The one-cap Super Eagles star who was on target last Saturday in his club's 1-1 away draw against Reims then made it 3-0 in the 53rd minute.

Five minutes after his third goal, Maja assisted Nicolas de Preville who rounded a sprawling Nimes keeper for the fourth goal. The other two goals were scored by midfielder Henrique Otavio in the 76th and 87th minute respectively.

The other Super Eagles star at Bordeaux, Samuel Kalu came off the bench in the 66th minute to replace Nicolas de Preville while Maja was substituted off by Croatian Toma Basic in the 75th minute.

With the win Bordeaux are currently third in the table with 26 points as at Tuesday night.

You know nothing about Pele. Several of his goals also came against the toughest sides in European football back in the 60s and 70s. Santos and Pele always went on world tours to partake in games and tournaments against the world's greatest clubsides. So biko don't speak with so much authority on something you are ignorant about. All because of some Die hard blind love for Messi.
