According to a report from the Sun, West Ham are in the race to sign £20 million-rated Queens Park Rangers ace Eberechi Eze in January, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has been in fine form for QPR this season. He has racked up seven goals and four assists in 19 Championship outings this far. Eze is a real talent, so it is no surprise that he is so highly coveted. The Sun claims that West Ham, Tottenham, Chelsea and Leicester are all interested in signing the 21-year-old. The Hammers need more creativity, dynamism and drive in midfield. And Eze would certainly provide them with that. The QPR youngster clearly has the ability to go on and become a real star in the game. And he is just the sort of player that West Ham fans would warm to immediately. Some Hammers fans took to Twitter in response to the speculation linking Eze with a move to the London Stadium… West Hammers @SebHaller22 · 1 Dec 2019 Replying to @WHUFC_News_6 @TheSunFootball @olliebruton Oliver Bruton ⚒ @olliebruton Would be an unreal signing 14:14 - 1 Dec 2019 Twitter Ads information and privacy See Oliver Bruton ⚒'s other Tweets West Ham News & Views ⚒️ @WHUFC_News_6 · 1 Dec 2019 West Ham United are amongst the group of Premier League sides regularly watching QPRs talisman Eberechi Eze. According to a report from the Sun, West Ham are set for a battle with Tottenham, Chelsea and Leicester for Queens Park Rangers starlet Eberechi Eze in January, and it would be a real statement from the Hammers, if they win the race for the talented youngster’s signature. The 21-year-old has been in fine form for Rangers this season. He has racked up seven goals and four assists in 19 Championship outings. Eze is an attacking midfielder by trade. The youngster is powerfully built, has an eye for goal and is a superb passer of the football. His game is built around pace, power and dynamism – three things that West Ham sometimes lack in the middle of the park. The QPR starlet would be an exceptional addition for the Hammers. And beating the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea and Leicester to his signature would make it that little bit sweeter. The Sun claims that Eze will cost around £20 million. And whilst that seems a lot for someone who is unproven in the Premier League, it could end up being an absolute steal. The 21-year-old has the ability to go on and become one of the game’s very best. If he continues to develop, he will be some player. And should West Ham win the race for his signature, they will be dealing a big blow to two of their fierce London rivals. |

TheSuperNerd: I watched videos of Pele ana Maradona too and those guys were top class. I even have a movie about the life of Pele(he featured in the movie) Despite the poor pitches, career ending tackles and lack of protection from referees they still excelled. I'm very sure Ronaldo and Messi will not survive guys like Claudio Gentile and the Butcher of Bilbao ( who tore Maradona's ligaments and went on to frame the boot he used to execute the job). 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Certitude: Just as we rate the difficulty of the game in the past era of the game due to tackles and protection, the pace and intensity of the current game will prove difficult to the players of the past. I have heard old heads say it that they would not be able to cope with the pace of the game today. That is why we have players on mean diets. Even Messi today finds it difficult to ghost past players. You find it hard seeing tricks coming off due to the Zonal presses going on. I still feel the modern game is far hard due to its pace and intensity. I have no doubt that the current Manchester City team or Liverpool will trouble the Santos team of Pele, efen whoop them, clearly because of the intensity. |

Eartquake1:g These guys are nothing compared to Claudio Gentile and the Butcher of Bilbao. Gentile is the meanest man marker ever. He was deployed to man mark Maradona and Zico at the same world cup. He kicked the life out of them, even used his nails on them and other crazy acts. Italy won the world cup. The butcher of Bilbao ended Bernd Schuster's career by damaging his knee. He was banned for 10 games for the tackle that damaged Maradona's ligament. Nine months later during a brawl between Barcelona and Bilbao match he kicked Maradona in the chest and was given an 18 match ban which was later reduced to 7 games after an appeal. 3 Likes |

TheGoodJoe: True the old players will find it hard to cope with the modern day game because of its intensity. Also the modern game has advanced in tactics and has greatly been improved by technology which the old game didn't have. The modern day game doesn't rate trickery and dribbles, it's result oriented. The current man city and Liverpool might trouble that Santos team but whoop them......Noooo 1 Like |

the modern game is too robotic and direct. players are not allowed to express themselves on the field of play anymore. Koboko99: 1 Like 1 Share |
