what then happened to onyekuru he no be special "talent"? i agree with you 100% that your ability as a player will open doors for you but also being an international player for even nigeria can help hasten the process. Finidi George, Daniel Amokachi, Taiye Taiwo would probably not have gotten big money moves abroad or at best been delayed several years if not for the national team andrewbaba44: |

It is not about size. It is about the attributes of both strikers. Rashidi was an all out number 9. Amokachi was more of a support striker. That is why both could work in fine synergy. Osimhen and Dessers will only work if one of them (likely Osimhen) functions as the striker that plays off the other one more. Like a Support striker. This is why I say Dessers may or may not combine with Osimhen. If both combine as all out number 9s, they could get into each other's paths. In a Big Striker/ Small striker combo, it is obvious what each brings with their attributes. The Big striker serves as the target man who the small striker serves as roaming striker. One supports, the other plays as the all out 9. One plays off the other. So it is about attributes and not size when I mention such combo. Mujtahida: 2 Likes 1 Share |

at least it is clear to all that dude prefer the weekly pounds to his career progression. Leicester City attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho, has reacted to rumours linking him with a January move to English Premier League side, Aston Villa. Iheanacho returned to Leicester City’s bench in Wednesday’s home win over Watford, few days after helping the team overcome Everton. With the next transfer window in January, reports in England suggest Aston Villa are ready to snap up the Nigerian as a crucial first team player on a permanent deal. The 23 year-old, however, said he’s happy at the King Power Stadium and has no reason to leave. “No, I’m happy here, everyone is happy,” he said. “The manager is a top manager who is friendly to everyone. I don’t see the reason why anyone could want to leave. I think he gives every- one chances, there are a lot of games coming up. “I believe in myself if I get the chance. sunnewsonline.com |

like a defoe/crounch scenario during their tottenham days or mboma/etoo for cameroon. that said i've seen similar attribute players still function well together andrew cole/dwight yorke, sturridge/saurez players who are not necessarily pure target man but rely more on their pace and clever movement TheSuperNerd: 1 Like |

Germany youth international of Nigerian descent Karim Adeyemi has reacted to reports linking him with moves to Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona. Barcelona recently saw a bid of fifteen million euros rejected for the Red Bull Salzburg starlet, while Borussia Dortmund have targeted him as a replacement for Jadon Sancho, who is attracting interest from Premier League and La Liga giants. He trained with Chelsea and courted interest from Liverpool before joining Red Bull Salzburg in July 2018. Adeyemi was awarded the Fritz Walter Gold Medal for the most promising talent in his age group by the DFB last August. ''First of all, I am pleased about such offers, which pushes me a lot," Adeyemi told transfermarkt.de. ''Still, that does not stop me from going where I want to go. That's why I do not worry so much about it and try to keep a clear head so I'm not distracted. I'm completely relaxed about all the offers. " Adeyemi admitted that he would love to play on the same team as the best player on the planet, Lionel Messi. ''It used to be my dream to play with the best player in the world, Lionel Messi, Barcelona. I definitely want to play in a top club in a top league,'' he added. This season, Adeyemi has been involved in 20 goals (11 goals, 9 assists) in 17 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg teams. |

You indeed know Eze so well. With the ball, he can be a marvel to watch but without it, dude becomes a liability. He really needs to up his workrate and overall off-the-ball contributions. Like Rohr, I will rather take an Ejaria now before Eze even if both are available at same time. But as it stands shaa, as you know, We can land Ejaria soon enough while Eze will likely come much later if he truly wants to switch allegiance following up on his words to Pinnick. Time will tell. charlesemeka85: 2 Likes |

That is it. Even Iheanacho and Iwobi combined well in a two man central attack two years ago. Both are by no means "small forwards". I refer to them as two technical gifted forwards who made good use of their movements, positioning and skilled interplays. The only way two "big/moderately big" forwards can combine effectively is if their attributes are not entirely similar with one able to play off the other or the two able to cleverly combine with smart movements and interplays thus complimenting each other. In most cases, the Big forward/small forward (Big/Small strikers) combo makes it much clearer.... And more effective even. All comes down to attribute like I have repeatedly said. Also, we can have a two small forwards combo in a two man attack with both being technically gifted and pacy. chrisooblog: 1 Like 1 Share |

his poor work rate is one aspect in his game which may turn him to a perennial bench warmer in serious minded epl teams if he joins any? coaches of nowadays like their AM's to be workaholics in other to stiffen the midfield when they re not in possession of the game. ejaria has this aforementioned quality more than him. he is still young and i believe he will learn all this with time TheSuperNerd: |

You are very right. Ovie does have this quality more than an Eze. Like Eze, Ovie Ejaria possesses skills, vision and technique but unlike Eze, his off-the-ball contributions are pretty visible. He offers as much off the ball as he does when on the ball. It's true Eze still has time to grow into a decent off-the-ball contributor but mehn... He really needs to work hard at it to get there. Time will tell. In conclusion, both players like you have said already can be great gains for us in the long run. I'm just loving the new further dynamic directions our team is taking. The quality pool is getting even deeper. charlesemeka85: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

i have seen him play severally and he is a super talented kid with good dribbling, passing and shooting abilities but a liability when his team is defending ovie is a warrior and can play any position in the midfield. i once talked down on him for being feather weight but have been impressed so far about how he has improved the physical side of his game. eze's stats and rating is better than ovie's but the latter is my kind of midfielder. ejaria is more like a young pogba with better work rate and pace while eze like is a young jay jay/coutinho chrisooblog: |
