Screw Sowore! His Sahara Reporters was used as a weapon and medium to shoot darts of hate and propaganda serum into the Nigerian polity during GEJ's era. On the eve of the 2015 Presidential Election, I created a thread with a now-inactive moniker of mine and I can recall the names of the Nairalanders who slept and mocked on that thread for days on end. I can remember the monikers (including Rilwayne001) who kept posting every conceivable lie and propaganda against GEJ, and always made front page, the obvious lies regardless.

I can remember how those in the APC cheered Sowore on and how Sahara Reporters was a mainstay on the Nairaland front page with all the lies. Was Adaka Boro spineless when he confronted the military government of Aguyi Ironsi while trying to secede from Nigeria and Eastern region that Ojukwu governed?

Besides, was Sowore fighting for his Ijaw tribe or a nationalist cause for the benefit of all Nigerians?

Stop equating a general nationalist struggle for a sectional secession championed by a tribe.
