Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Nobody: 3:04pm On Dec 07, 2019 |
atheistandproud:AC and DC current are diff..but if they both generate both same voltage and at same standard they are the same The major advantage that AC electricity has over DC electricity is that AC voltages can be readily transformed to higher or lower voltage levels, while it is difficult to do that with DC voltages. Since high voltages are more efficient for sending electricity great distances, AC electricity has an advantage over DC So don't be delusional whether u use Gen or Nepa doesn't really matter as long as the supply is in range with charger requirement. kallmemrB: Here is the thing. The only reason why the battery of your phone may charge poorly or differently with the same charger when connected to other power sources apart from the power grid ("NEPA" ) is when the input voltage is fluctuating, which may affect the output. Usually, the voltage from "NEPA" is usually constant apart from times when they decide to be unfortunate. The output of a good charger should be the same either when connected to the power grid or to a good generator (one with Automatic Voltage Regulator). The problem is that most of those small generators don't have AVR. The bigger ones do have. AVR will ensure that a steady voltage is being supplied at all times. Once the AVR is non existent or faulty, then anything can go wrong with your charger, from charging your battery poorly or getting burnt. That's why it's advisable to charge your phones with "NEPA" and big generators, or you get a mini AVR for your chargers and other mini appliances if you're using a small gen. Even a powerbank can charge your battery poorly if there is no intelligent voltage control. 3 Likes |
