#DiscountedIVF IvesMedicare Foundation, ( A registered Health NGO ), announces 50% discounted promotion in the cost of Invitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment for willing couples. This initiative is in its 11th year. We identified cost as a major factor militating against stemming incidences of Infertility in Nigeria , and this initiative aims to lighten up drastically the cost burden on couples who are experiencing delay in conception. With close to 2000 IVF babies to the credit of our IVF clinic partners and with the historic success story of MRS AJIBOLA OTUNBUSIN, a 67yrs old mother who benefitted from the programme and delivered of a baby in 2018 thus becoming the oldest IVF mum in Africa, our belief in the prospects of IVF as a solution in infertility is further strengthened. . We are firmly determined to continuously make IVF accessible and relatively affordable to couples . β Register btw 1stβ30th December 2019 β Contact for details: 08030811049 07037909006 08162977390 09079484480 08173240193 . #ivf #ivfpregnancy #fertilitytreatment #lagosnigeria #ivfjourney #fertilitytreatment #fertilityjourney #ttc #ttccommunity Please I saw this online and thought it wise to share. 2 Likes |

Mama please do your research well O. I will advise you pick like 2-3 hospitals, check for reviews about them online, then visit the hospitals to make enquiry to be sure of where to go. Above all, please pray that God should guide you on where to go, no matter how bad or good a hospital is, the main factor for success in IVF is God. 1 Like |

[quote author=Tripletwins222 post=84606090] Thank a lot sis. I appreciate your words of encouragement. He was taking fertile support, Zinc, Vit C&E, Maca root capsules and coq10. Though he stopped taking them since August and has been on fruits especially bananas since then.[/quote Ok, please let him not stop vit c& E, coq10 because they are antioxidants and are essential for improved sperm motility. There are no side effects with Its prolonged use as far as one uses recommended dose and they are also dietary supplement. Banana is just for increment in libido but carrot and cucumber are for sperm count. if he has infection in as much as he is taking antibiotics, slice a clove of garlic and let him swallow it with water because he might not like chewing the garlic, this helps alot in infection and also increases sperm motility very much. LET him continue his fertility drugs . PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP UNTIL YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT. LASTLY, if you are going for myomectomy, research about fibroid diet plan, foods you need to avoid and food you need to be taking, because if you do not, there will be fibroid regrowth even after its removal but with the change in diet it will not come back. Baby dust to you dear! 1 Like |

Hello mamas/papas in the house. Great job with this thread...I have been on the ttc thread for sometime now but I decided to look for an IVF thread because it seems like my best option right now. I got married in mid 2016 and hubby and I were apart for a year. But we have been together for over 2 years now but nothing...never been pregnant even once. Anyways, we started seeing a reproductive endocrinologist recently and he is suggesting IVF. DH's sperm analysis showed low motility and zero normal shaped. He has also had one testicle removed and an hernia surgery. The doctor said he is not so worried about the motility because he can help improve that but that the absence of any normal shaped semen is his fear. Now, we are in the US and IVF is crazy expensive here but dh and I have decided to take a loan or whatever and do it (apart from the sperm issues, we are both AS and were planning to do Amniocentesis or something along that line. However, now since we have not even been able to conceive, we think we will be killing two birds with a stone (very expensive stone though). My questions then are: 1. Would the issue of having no normal shaped semen not also affect the success rate of the IVF 2. Has anyone on this thread (or anyone you know) done IVF in the US? Need to ask some questions 3. Any general advise for me and my issues |

@ EngrSarah Will it be possible doing it here in Nigeria. There are lots of good hospitals in Abuja and Lagos even Warri. Remember 60% of couples conceive on the first trial. Some may need to try again. Come down. Freeze some embryos. Regarding the semen, I know we had some crazy bad results . really bad but with good drugs, treating infection, eating right, exercise, prayers and good rest everything fell in line. Read backward. There was this drugs we were placed on FHPRO. suggest it to your Dr. But also build up the semen before any trial. It's just a phase. Be positive and don't give up 4 Likes |
