MrMcJay:people getting food does not necessarily mean that they don't have money for food. Have you ever seen someone who paid school fees, buy textbooks and die of starvation? I was also getting free food anyway possible while I was in school. That doesn't mean my account balance was zero Naira. I am not helping him make excuses. I am helping him use his senses. When people tell their success stories, listen with your senses intact. Dangote moved to hustle in Lagos, Do you think his billionaire uncle would leave him to wander the streets of Lagos broke if he failed? I have seen a billionaire son beating his chest telling stories of how he is a selfmade multi millionaire. Smh There are many igbo men that traveled abroad to hustle legitimately but failed but due to the shame of coming back empty handed and nothing to fall back on, they go into drugs dealings and other dirty crimes, many succeeded but many also got caught and rotting in jailed if not killed. |

ojesymsym: My boss, nah wetin TB crash caused be dt o. We are learning anyway; From either sides. My side & Ahiboilandgas & co positions. In fact, almost what he & those who share his stand views are very correct & realistic. It's just dt I'm a kind of a passive person. Probably, a little push in anyway. It's just my nature. |

OgogoroFreak: That's exactly my point. It's just as if I had no one around me. Right from when I was growing up. Most people should concern only when they hear one suffers great calamities, losses or death. People close were so mean & heartless to my siblings while growing up dt I almost dropped out of secondary school because of N150 subsidized school fees in d mid 1990s and late 1990s. With all that experience & what I went through on d street, those who's been there will understand my "cowardice". |

ojesymsym: There's no environment without opportunities.People are making it big in Nigeria and are building houses left right center in the same country everybody is running away from. The problem is the level of opportunity. Many people make it more outside the country than inside. Villages are highly limited in a lot of things than cities.Good accessible roads, water etc.The people that still tap the goldmine of this villages are still the rich. Some folks that are rich have their own farms and poultries in this villages which they make their proceeds and now come sell in the city.Due to cheaper lands and labour, they easily explore it to the fullest. But as your everyday hustler, you won't make it more there because nobody is really ready to pay you as much as you want so you have to come into an environment where you need to get paid well and unfortunately this environment is very well competitive 2 Likes |

Summary of events, rent over due. Ask to leave, not discussing after expiration, frame me that I lock her inside, police working on illegal detention. Thanks for reading 6 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: Okay, the points are spot on. But why should Emefiele take the fall/hits all by himself? Is he acting completely out of his self interest? The CBN/Finance ministry in Nigeria isn't entirely as independent as of saner climes, so why does the hammer have to fall on his head every time.. 1 Like |

ahiboilandgas:I almost got killed twice while I was traveling on night bus going to Lagos for job interview. Then I was a teacher receiving 12k - my colleagues then will be like “what is wrong with this guy, using his salary to transport for job interviews. The very last trip was deadly. I had to sleep in the bush for hours when arm robbers attacked. I still got to Lagos in the morning and did the interview - Got the job (about 40k). Almost the same time my dad was retrenched. I had two younger brothers reading medicine then. O boy life was not funny o. I almost enter yahoo yahoo. But I didn’t relent, I pushed harder and got a better job and here we are. Two younger brothers are certified medical doctors now. Life is about leaving ur comfort zone. As I speak my colleagues in the school I taught are still there receiving not up to 20k salary - they have refused to leave their comfort zone. 21 Likes |
