Now that is the dream two-pronged attack our current GWG can put out in a 3-5-2 with both players in prime form. I tell u, that would be the stuff of dreams. grin

chidi1:
Ihenacho and Osimhen attack combination would be very interesting.....just musing.

Thanks man. Nacho seems to have lots of fun there.

Well I feel he should still do lots of work dropping to work with the midfield. He is showing signs of quality on the ball and needs to make the most of it.

Rohr will have sleepless nights thinking of the options we have upfront.
Osimhen, Maja, Dessers, Nacho and Okereke...our striking options is looking good.

Samuel Chukwueze won't be able to play in this kind of formation. So this set up can't work

Meanwhile another Hot sauce, Cyriel Dessers start for Heracles Almelo as they take on Sparta Rotterdam away in the Eredivisie...

Now, Osimhen is our number 1 striker.

Now just look at that competitive lineup for that back-up role...

- Iheanacho with his left foot and high cerebral plays.

- Maja with his instinctive finishing and power.

- Dessers with his pace, power, finishing and technique

- Okereke with his movements, positioning and finishing...

- And finally... Sadiq Umar with his strong languid/lanky style with high IQ finishing and technique.

I say Bye bye Onuachu... Onuachu will surely drop down the pecking order soon enough.

Chukwueze must not start in this formation so this set-up can indeed work and it has worked before. Besides, Chuks can play in a two-pronged attack.
