Manchester City play Leicester City on the 21st. Iheanacho will probably have to sit that one out, but it promises to be quite the game.

Vardy on 16 goals in 16 games
His strike partner on 4 in 4

Rodgers is doing a brilliant job in Leicester. He might not be able to get them the Premier League, like Ranieri was able to do the lasttime they were in such blistering form, but it will only be because of a far more formidable opponent in Liverpool, and not due to any shortcomings in a team as brilliant as the Foxes.

Rodgers can, however, take his place up there with Ranieri.

I think this 4-3-1-2 that Rodgers played today suits Nacho.
I never thought he'd use it at Leicester. Hopefully he uses it a bit more...that formation was responsible for Sturridge and Suarez crazy form that season...

Aina is now a CB? Kwantinue!

komekn:

I did a screen shot but it was ages ago so can't find it anymore. But if you have time you will discover according to AFCON Aina was statistically the best defender.

Omeruo was not voted as one of the outstanding CB s in the tournament. I found him lacking several times.

Maddison is so good he could play for Spain if he were Spanish. He plays like a Spaniard bred midfielder. I have said this about him since he joined Leicester. Anyway, the lad will surely make the Euro 2020 squad. We'll see who Southgate goes with as England's first choice number 10. Barkley, Mount are his other competitors.

Av bn wondering ooo, even Ter Stegen has better stats offensively than that so called weapon of mass destruction of juvenile soccer.

Stergen initiates attacks, a supposed striker doesn't, Stergen has two assists already this season, a supposed striker doesn't get involved in build ups, let alone have an assist grin

Iheanacho's Stats at Leicester this season so far

- 4 appearances
- 177 mins
- 4 goals
- 2 assists
- 1 goal involvement every 30 mins

Nacho under Rodgers is blossoming again as he did under Pellegrini. Reminds me of Sterling under Rodgers.... Rodgers truly has that special touch with certain high-yield talents. I pray this Nacho resurgence continues.
