It is nice to hear Nacho is First Class in training but this is the easy part. He has learnt a lot and I was impressed when Rodgers was giving some advice to a player, before Nacho was substituted, how Nacho ran to listen to what Rodgers was saying. Shows Nacho is hungry to learn.

Now comes the hard part. To keep learning and being first class in training for the coming years of his career. That is how he gets to become a World Class player.

He needs to maintain his diet and fitness. Instead of adding, he needs to keep shedding pounds to move faster and stay sharper.

Moses Simon is another and although has decent Ligue 1 stats, he remains more defensively astute and just effective enough in the final third.

This league can still see the likes of Josh Maja, Cyriel Dessers, Chidera Ejuke, and a few others expand it further.

Even in school, in Medicine, or in business, hours upon hours, days upon days and weeks upon weeks of preparation, hardwork and fine-tuning is needed to deliver massive success in just probably 3 hours of a paper, a surgery or even a major business contract presentation.


If it requires many hours and weeks of practice for a Choir to prepare for a rendition of just 10mins, then a footballer surely needs more time on the "Drills field" to ensure he is in top shape for the next 90mins of football action.

Preparation and training must always be far greater and far more time-invested than the time for the actual action.
