Some players are 'confidence' players. When confidence is high, they are unstoppable. When confidence is low, they are terrible.

Confidence plays a role for every player but it affect some more than others.

Maybe Kelechi needs confidence to operate well, he looks like a better version of the under 17 boy. We have seen him play like this before but all of a sudden, it looked like he could not play ball again.

The arrival of Pep in city seemed to dampen his confidence and he never regained it till now.

He needs to learn to play irrespective of who manages the team or whether his confidence e is high or not

Are you sure? I know Nosa demanded to be a starter as he can't come and be warming bench that's why he was dropped, so please can you show where Rhor said the above

“He is not better than the players I have here. We have one player Nosa [Igiebor] here, but not the other one.

Yes, Nosa told Rhor to either play him or stop inviting him. he must think he's Pogba and Kante rolled into one body

You get confident when you know in your heart that you are great and exceptional at it.

A player can not feel confident to juggle the ball if he has not practiced it enough. If he knows he has practiced it over ten thousand times and knows he can do it with ease, he will get confident to do it.

Rodgers pointed out that Nacho has been excellent in training. That is the best way to boost a player's confidence, by making him become good at what he does. Which means focused practice.

In an interview with the Super Eagles Media team, Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze was asked to name his role model and it didn't come as a surprise when he chose Chelsea legend Arjen Robben.

The Diamond Academy product has already scored goals in all the competitions he has featured in for Villarreal, including La Liga, Copa del Rey and Europa League.

Before hanging up his boots, Robben was one of the greatest exponents of the inverted winger, a similar role played by Chukwueze for club and country.

''Arjen Robben. He is the perfect match, I always watch his video if I am going to play a game or when I am alone in the room, when I have free time I watch his game also,'' said Chukwueze.

On his best friend in the Super Eagles, he said : ''Victor Osimhen. Five or six years now we have been together, from U17 to U20, U23, Super Eagles and we keep in touch always, and he's doing perfectly good in his club.

''I think we have been so good, he's just very lively to be with.''

Chukwueze has emerged as one of the most promising youngsters in La Liga, and was nominated for the 2019 Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy while he's still in the running for the 2019 Confederation of African Football Youth Player of the Year.
