eolme: Don't waste your time and money like me applying for remarking especially if you wrote with British Council. Prepare your mind and retake the test. |

ednut1: As far as I can remember, law school cert does not give two or more degrees. Law school cert is usually not evaluated ot recognized. I stand to be corrected. Do you know of anyone who has done it? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by gsade: 4:17pm On Dec 10, 2019 |
Silversurfer1: I dont know anyone who has done that before but I know people who have had law school cert returned unevaluater because it does not compare to any canadian education. It is naija specific. |

Sir it’s never a waste of time, if it didn’t work for you doesn’t mean it won’t work for others. I moved from 6 to 7 in writing. What do you have to say about that? Of course it was BC. If you are sure of what you wrote... I’ll advice follow your gut @eolme It will end in praise. alphaNomega: 15 Likes |

RomStar01: Best news for lawyers then! So WES may be the way out. I had a sneaky feeling it could work with WES. I did WES too initially then waited months to do IQAS but upon submission my spouse LLB WES evaluation was still given point as though it was a professional degree. At that point, I started doubting the wisdom in waiting that long (three months) for IQAS evaluation. So I have always thought may be WES evaluation can pass the scrutiny for lawyers. Congrats by the way! Go and prosper! 2 Likes |

RomStar01:Ehen, where is Tina? I've forgotten her handle. See a Lawyer that claimed points for First Professional Degree even though WES evaluated it as a 4 years Bachelor Degree. I did the same thing. I pray my outcome will be like yours. Thanks for the confirmation and congratulations again. 2 Likes |

gsade: We are in the same boat oh. I read on Canadavisa about Lawyers who used WES and still got PPR. They just explained with LOE about the disparity and what IRCC says about Law degrees. Some people here said it won't work because its misrepresentation but how can it be misrepresentation when their government states otherwise? Glad to see proof of this from a Nigerian here. Granted this didn't work for everyone but I did this too and I'm praying for a positive outcome. God dey 3 Likes |

A friend told me I can claim 2 or more certificates as long as I can get the evaluated certificate in 60 days after I get ITA. Should I claim two or more certificates even tho my cIMA is still being evaluated with WES and it’s the same evaluation number I would still use of my previous BSC evaluation? Gurus in the house what do you think 1 Like |

I believe you shouldn't rush and risk it. As long as you are certain that after evaluation your CRS will be high enough for ITA then stay patient muvey10: |

alphaNomega: I guess your opinion is understandable, however I asked for a remark (BC) because I was very sure I should have scored higher than a 7, few days later my score was upgraded to 7.5 It gave me 3 extra points. With these high CRS, every little helps. I believe if a candidate is certain they should have scored higher, it's worth it. It's just 15k with BC. If your score changes, you get your money back. If it doesn’t, it’s not a huge loss. It’s better to try and know for sure than to always keep wondering if you should have down the line. 5 Likes |

gsade: It doesn't work for everyone. A few parts ago at least 2 people reported but as they had points above the draws, they weren't negatively affected. When it happens negatively the journey becomes... Story below is from WhatsApp I decided to observe hallelujah challenge. On the 2nd day being 24 April 2018 the chicken landed, refusal letter. Funny but I felt relieved. Anything but the wait was welcomed. I went on to complete my 7 days midnight praise and worship with no prayer or any form of request to God. I was not happy but I refused to be perturbed. I also didn’t announce it on the group because I didn’t want sympathy for nothing. I knew I was going to share the testimony. I wrote Ahmed and the entire parliament in immigration committee. Some responded nonchalantly, some to tell me my letter was not for them, most ignored me and some said they were concern but don’t have the facility to help. Ok, dead end and Ahmed replied telling me the decision was final. I also wrote Ottawa, Central intake and Accra but only Accra replied me on the 5th of May with a request stating my application was processed and considered on the merit of my claims and decision was final. I cannot explain it but I knew it would surely end in praise. I took up some service to God that i had been procrastinating on. Like the saying goes ‘those who wait on God, do what waiters do, they serve’. I created another profile and didn’t claim professional degree so my CRS was 417 so I sent in another evaluation to WES for an upgrade with my law school transcript which took 3 months. In August, my CRS went up to 445 with the new WES. (Needless to bore you with the troubles I experience with WES evaluation considering I had to include WAEC). As i dey try increase score no so draw dey run dey go up. I no shake sha oooooo. Xmas sure for me for canaland. My sister tried registering me for a program in unilag that would run until June next year but I declined telling her will be in Canada before December. Then my month of favour came. 1 year post AOR and i said a prayer not on my knees but while walking. God i need something to ones again know the joy of your salvation. I know your timing is perfect and you are never late but i want it now. The time has come to show them what I say you will do. That week my prayer stirred up an action in my sister in Canada. According to her, she became restless and angry in her spirit so she contacted several lawyers who told her it was a professional degree but that we have missed the period for appeal and nothing could be done. With that annoyance, she wrote the minister again (Ahmed). She wrote with a Canadian email and she received a response immediately directing her to her MP and a request for her contact information, which she sent. Though she wrote as me, she used her own contact. All this while she did not tell me what she was doing as she didn’t want to give false hope. One week latter, my reconsideration was accepted. On the 22nd of August status changed from refused to submitted. Glory to God. Revelation 3:7 he open that door and kept it fa ch outed for me. On the 31st of August exactly one year from AOR, I got an ADR for re-medical and on the 3rd of September, I got another ADR for schedule A and custody papers for my daughter. I submitted 2 week later. On the 24th, I got a call from the officer reviewing my file in Accra. She said my file was moving positively that she was the one who reviewed my reconsideration request and reopened my file seeing that I had the point I claimed. She needed clarification on the documents I sent and that they could not find some so I had to raise CSE to send again. Few hours later, I saw a placeholder for one of the documents and I uploaded again. Yesterday I changed my dp name from just chi to testimony. Praise master Jesus What the lord has done for me I cannot tell it all We shall all know this Joy. I pray that our expectation in this journey shall never be cut. And in due time (Gods time is perfect) everything is made perfect..
