Tavict:Two weeks is not too much for them to attempt processing your admission. If any, only few people get admission letter just after two weeks of applying. Upload your EPL and send it across to them via post (I guess you sent the previous document by post too) and mention your application number or other unique identifier you have. |

Hello everyone, I’ve noticed the amount of people worried about getting interview dates and I want to share my view. (NOTE: This is just my observation/opinion and you are free to disregard it) 1. I think the reason why dates have not been free flowing so far is because the embassy has some personnel issues currently. I say this because, I and a friend had interviews in different weeks in November (cat b) and we noticed that the same V.O interviewed both of us. She’s a Nigerian woman, igbo I think. Also on the day of my interview there were only 2 V.O’s working that morning. If you also recall, a couple of weeks back some people stated that they observed that a couple of V.O’s quit or something. Now, I can’t really say wether that’s true but from what I noticed, it seems like the number of people being interviewed this period are very few, we were only 5 students on the day of my interview. Now, calm down first, even if my observation is correct, this certainly does not mean that nobody will get dates anymore for summer. I’m very sure that the embassy will be actively working on re-staffing and doing everything possible to cater to everyone, so nobody (cat a or b) should be giving up, or loosing sleep over this. Most schools resume march or April and there’s still enough time to process visas before that time. 2. If you are currently waiting for interview date, piece of advice: don’t just wait passively, you have to be active. First, if you’ve gotten admission already, make sure you’re familiarize yourself with your program coordinator or whoever the contact person in your school is. Email them introducing yourself, then also let them know that you have applied for date and importantly, ask them for the possibility of getting an enrollment extension so that in case you get a date late, you can still make it for summer. Also, (pls note that this is only advise, you don’t have to follow it, and I will not be liable for any damages. Lol) if your program starts in February and you have not gotten a date now, and you fall in category B, I will advise you to cancel and reapply for date using a much later date like March ending or even 1st of April. This is to give embassy enough time for all the processing. But make sure you have contacted your school about enrollment extension first o, or apply to another school that resumes in March/April as back up. 3. While you are waiting, start preparing in faith too. Learn small German, familiarize yourself with your coursework etc. I wish everyone good luck. 12 Likes 1 Share |

@AVO19 I had my interview also in November, 12th to be precise and I was interviewed by a short fair complexion locked hair lady. An igbo lady I presume. She made the interview too flexible, she asked me questions and constantly, engaged in chats with her colleagues in the next room. When did you do your interview? |

JosephAdeoba: Maybe some of the staff are observing annual leave I guess but there should be some relief staff instead of leaving to job to suffer. |
