I can relate with the period you just mentioned. It's the period I called era of blind and non calculated risk investment by Nigerians. when people just bought anything in the name of investment. If you really want to make money in the market after defining your goals/investment objectives: Read, read, and read again, be hungry for market and economic information, you will be amazed what you can get from the stock market. For your information that is what happens all over the markets in the different countries of the world. Even the all powerful wall street. But I can see you are not very far from reality. Just put in a little more effort. to understand the dynamics of the stock market you will be fine. I am talking from experience.

I doubt if that's the position of the law except it's a fixed tenancy in which case a 7 day's notice is ONLY needed.

At expiration of rent you only need to give him 7 days notice. The expiration of rent is deem a notice in the instance. Reality check, argument in court might last longer than 7 days but you are to give 7 days and not months as erroneously propounded by most lawyers. You only issue quit notice if rent has not expired

Agreed to let her stay free till Feb. I don't have time to even think about any other thing other than making money. I don't need to win always. I accept defeat and pray she meets her match someday. My Tbills investment has never and will never put me in that state.

Thank God this ends in a good note. My sister wasn't so lucky with her one tenants who resorted to using diabolical means so as not to vacate the house. To end the drama, we had to sell of the property and moved the funds into business proper

As someone who doesn't own a single property in naija but heavily invested in t bills, I still feel you guys are in a better secenerio just incase the economy finally bursts.

At least with a house you're safe from homelessness, inflation risks etc.

My greatest fear is that all this money I'm carrying around could vanish if Nigeria goes Zimbabwe.

But properties are just damn too expensive.

I use robotic software (EA) and it has been very impressive, the daily return is low(around 10-20% monthly but it's consistent), it works only on brokers that allow pro-Cent account, not standard account so the risk is reduced. Also PAMM with authorised & regulated brokers is good with minimal risk

Its dynamism is dictated by the state of the economy and policy makers. for instance you can see what is happening to Tbills rates of recent base on economic policy yet investors still buy Tbills depending on their risk tolerance, business/ real estate/ high interest bonds as you mentioned are other forms of investment. each has its place in investment world and they serve their different purpose. So the market still is a form of investment no matter how risky. All you do is to allocate your resources wisely to maximize your ROI
