However, Diego Simeone’s team face what looks like a far more favourable last group game against Lokomotiv Moscow.

The situation is simple for Bayer: they have to better Atletico’s result in the final game of the group. The home side head into this game unbeaten in six games in all competitions, having recorded five wins.

Most crucially in the context of the Champions League, Bosz’s team have won their last two games in the competition against Atletico Madrid and last time out Lokomotiv Moscow.

However, there is one negative for Bayer heading into this clash in the fact that they have won just two of their previous eight Champions League at the BayArena.

The Bianconeri have already sealed qualification and top spot in the group. Therefore, this game is of little importance to the visitors. However, what will be important to Maurizio Sarri’s team is to get back to winning ways after a poor couple of results.

The Bianconeri have failed to win in two games, which by their high standards is highly unusual. In fact, last time out Sarri’s team suffered their first league defeat of the campaign, going 3-1 at Lazio.

Despite their recent poor form, Juventus head into this clash on the back of four straight wins in the Champions League. Three of those four wins have come at the Allianz Stadium, though, so this game may prove a bigger challenge. The fact that the Bianconeri have also won just once in their last five away games in the Champions League also suggests that this game may prove to be anything but plain sailing for the team from Turin.

A lack of clean sheets has been a factor in that poor away form in Europe, as they have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five matches.

Conclusion
This is a massive game for the in-form visitors, who had struggled for points prior to their last two outings in the competition. They do have quality, but Juventus will be determined to avoid defeat, which is why we are backing the draw.

We are also backing both teams to score, as Bayer are relatively potent on home soil, while Juventus have struggled defensively of late.
