Uyo is closer to this countries than it is to say kano or maidugri, and there are more ibibio/ Efik indigenes in south Cameroon, Gabon, Malabo and Sao tome than in Borono state or far Northern states in Nigeria.

So these areas would be a natural niche for ibom air, should they have continental expansion dream.

I don't think ibom air is planning continental routes for now.
Maybe in their long term plan, for new I think they will be concentrating on domestic expansion.

The design looks nice but does VKS construction have the capacity to deliver a quality job on schedule?. Big projects likes this should be awarded to firms like JB that have the track record, vast experience of Nigerian terrain,technical capacity, equipments and global reach in recruiting expert. You dont award big jobs to a company that will need to hire equipments, recruit 2 turkish and lebanness technicians as expatriate and do a dirty job. Akpabio will always have my respect in terms for taste and quality.
