Why not convert half of your naira to dollar, it’s still a good option because once naira is devaluated you’ll still make gains. I won’t advise one to have all savings in naira.

The cbn govenor and his team have to start thinking like the investor (customer)and not the regulator (industry) ...the federal govt suspend the import of petrol by 55 depots since 2015 and only nnpc is doing so crowding out other billionaires depot owner b4 depots do 70 percent of the import and nnpc 30 percent ...now it 100 percent ....so where did the cbn govt and buhari think those billions held by depots owner will go in the short term .....TREASURY BILL AT 15 UNTILL THERE CHANGE IN POLICEY

Closing the investment space through banning of import bussiness will lead to money chasing treasury bills ...now without any parameter to back it up u close your boader ,ban several items (without reaching self sufficiency) now u have huge uempolyment ,increase poverty , negative growth...and horrible fix icome market ...cos all the capital from import bussiness will move to treasury bills temporary untill baba is out ...

The same thing happened to me, but I recovered my money back by sending more foreign currency. If I pull out now I will have lost nothing from the devaluation, but then again I'm still at risk if there's another devaluation coming. That's why you must hedge while investing.

I want to pick Ur brain on something but I don't know if I'm permitted to ask here

Non TB related topics can be discussed on weekends.

I have a stock market investment WhatsApp group, which focused on investment generally but with a bias for the stock market. But weekends are free days when we discuss as the spirit directs.
