the 0.6590, is it an exact level? From what I have read about support and resistance , is that it is a zone. Most times people talk about a specific price level, but when I try drawing support/resistance line, I don't get exactly those same level.

Support/resistance is a zone and not an exact value. For example, look at nzdusd @ 0.6582 (+and- 4to6 pips) on a daily tf from April 24- August 6, u will notice how price closed/open/low/high were formed.

UJ has completed the 3rd wave on weekly TF with a high of 10971 last week, but quickly dropped to 10841. This level overlaps the high of the first wave @ 10847, which negates Rule 2 which says 4th wave must not overlap the first.

As a result, a new count starts at the high of wave 3.

I hope this helps someone. A newbie out there struggling to trade on their own.

If you don't have a strategy that's consistent. And you are still struggling to have consistent results. Like you don't have a good system.

You can start with this basic or primitive strategy I want to teach.

At least will bring you something till you figure out Market Structure.

Market structure is what you should aim to understand. But before that comes. It's heavy hours looking at and working on charts.. Just price action. You just know where price is going. You just know.

I am right, more often than not, on where price is going long term. I just know where price is going long term. And my losing trades are typically due to lack of patience for entry or I didn't time my entries right.

Alright.. Next post addresses the strategy.. Then before the weekend runs out.. I give examples.

But don't forget.. Market structure is what you should aim to understand.
The other things can help confirm your bias.

Let's say there is a clear trendline (A).. A needs at least 3 touches to be valid.

Then A gets broken.

Then there is a correction back to A. But the catch is.. This correction or retest of A has another defined trendline (B).

We can safely enter at the break of B.

Put our stop loss below the correction
1st Tp. Will be peak of the correction.

Then final target will be the highest point we used to form A.

Example 1

EURJPY

Still on the way to final target.
Price never traded below the correction till now. Though it has not reached final target but imagine getting in from that break.

I am of the opinion that GBP/JPY will go back to the 146/7 zone before going else where, I consider the zone a resistant zone.

The trend is still bullish, even friday's candle which closed with a long wick/shadow is still a bullish candle.
