Let me share my own testimony of how God delivered me from masturbation. I am not ashamed to say it. I will not hide under an anonymous moniker to say it because it is testimony and I am glad God did it for me. I can boldly say it even in public.

I masturbated for more than 12 years. No matter how hard I tried to stop it, I couldn't. I was so addicted to it that most nights, I was engaged in the act. I was also a addicted porn lover. My data was always running low because of frequent visits to porn sites to download videos and also watch online. As a result, this was also taking money from me more than it should.
It was getting worse by the day. It got to an extent that I just gave up hope of ever quitting the habit. I made up my mind that there wasn't hope for me. If I manage to go one week without masturbating, I will praise my self for the feat.

So it happened that I changed church. I started attending a Prophetic church where the man of God calls people's cases by Prophecy and prays for them. God reveals secrets through him. So, during one of our services, he mentioned that there was a boy who was a chronic masturbator(if there is any word like that). He said when he masturbates and cums, he swallows his semen. He said it is a demonic habit that the guy cannot stop on his own that he needed the help of God to break out from. The guy came out and he delivered the him. But God spoke to him that there were others also who were present in the service who are into the same act. He asked them to come out. Though reluctantly, people started coming out. You should see the number of those who came out.

Now, I was sitting at the front. I was among those that were supposed to come out. The secret was known by me alone. I was ashamed of coming out, even though I needed the deliverance so bad. The Man of God counted from one to ten to give others still sitting down the last opportunity to come out. But yours truly sat down tightly. I was so ashamed of coming out. But I needed badly to stop the act.

Now this is what I did. I 'negotiated' with God. Lol.... Both of us did a non verbal negotiation. I told God that I am ashame of coming out but this is what I want it to go.
I promised God that I will never ever engage in the act anymore. I told God that the day I ever do it again, may I run mad. I told Him that any day I ever masturbate, may the worse evil anyone can think of befall me. I was serious o. I was praying it in my mind. I promised Him that the last one I did would be the last I would ever do.

That was a risk, but I needed to take it. And as the Man of God was praying for those who came out, I was saying Amen to the prayers and claiming it.

When I got home, I started to work it out myself. I didn't just relax. I started by deleting every porn videos from my phone. I uninstalled my browser and downloaded a new one so those porn sites won't be in my phone anymore. Any erotic photos was deleted from my phone. I was making efforts towards stopping the act. There must be an effort on your part. I had porn movies at home. I made sure I broke all of them. I didn't just throw them away. I broke them into pieces first before throwing them away.

Before then, if I am transferring files through Xender or Flashare from someone's phone and I come across any porn video, I must surely add it. But after then, whenever I se such, I just scroll past them. I made sure I stayed complete far from anything pornography.

Brothers and sisters, that's how I have been able to stay more than 1 year now without mastubating. The feelings died like that. Sometimes I will be asking myself, 'how did God do it?' Is this me? One year masturbation-free. The feelings died entirely.
But I must say at the beginning it wasn't easy. The feelings came occasionally, but the promise I made God kept me going.
