It is well...I pray Augusto gets well soon. Good news from my end as Oscar my Boerboel that was down with Parvo virus last week is okay now. Though very skinny but he survives it and is on his way to gaining his lost weight back. Thanks to you all for your good wishes.

On Monday morning i noticed a change in Augusto's behaviour but couldn't comprehend what was wrong until i returned from work in the evening. Augusto is sick, has gotten real lean and his appetite is nowhere to be found

I hope and pray he recovers with time so that he'd do some filling, I need to walk him for the first time this Christmas like i said earlier

What a warm news indeed. God has been faithful to us big time because the rate at which dogs are dying this season is very alarming, if not parvo then one sickness or the other

Augusto has fully recovered and adding up real quick wow, one wouldn't know how good and big their pup is until they lose some weight and fill up again before your eyes.

I didn't get him pork last week so yesterday being sunday, after church I headed to my customer's abattoir to get few pounds of meat and soft bones for augusto. I'm glad he's now fine, glory be to God

The Boys are already bonding so fast, I had wanted to take these pictures on Christmas but I changed my mind though I plan on taking better and cleaner shots on Christmas tho.

Augusto clocks 4months old tomorrow, some people said he looks lanky here and adviced me to feed more but he's already getting enough food nao

The breeder said he's in his duckling stage so him looking this way is normal as it's the same case with the other litter mates.

To me augusto loosks perfect o, as in he's got lots of muscles and really ripped so nice. Well let's all watch and see how this boy turns out

Thats the worst thing to do, gaint breeds like the Boerboel should be kept lean up and till at least 18 months to ensure healthy elbows and hips.. After 18 months then you can start the bulking process.

Augusto looks perfect at 4 months, Boerboels don't grow evenly anyways hence the lanky look!!

Thanks for the compliment, in fact I agree with you. A boerboel puppy shouldn't look fat or obese but rather fit and well fed. right from time i had wanted a well bred balanced dog with good bone structures, nice paws and ability to work unlike the show bred ones designed for looks alone

No matter what i feed Augusto I don't think he'd grow fat because I barely lock him up these days, he always stay outside running around with gustaf thereby getting a lot of necessary exercise as well

Thanks man I prefer homemade food recipe to dry and wet processed feeds for dogs tho I still have some little kibble left in the store, the last time I used it was like 2weeks back. I only feed it as a proxy when i run out of food
