I have been searching through the news to know the companies that really signed the 20 years deal with NLNG. is it NAOC or OER. NAOC is the operator of most of Oil assets where OER is a joint venture partner. The way these guys push out news to prop up the market price is way way beyond me. Sometimes I tempted to agree that investing in stocks quoted on NSE is like gambling.

I wanted to ask you the question when I saw the news.
I need someone to explain to me as I couldn't understand the story.
Who is producing? Who is selling? Who is buying?

There is nothing new there. They are just trying to manufacture 'good news' .

NAOC is the operator. OER has a stake in the producing ASSETS. Any gas produced must be sent to NLNG. Other IOCs send produced gas to NLNG.

So what is the news there?

Is there no other stock for you to buy?

Is there anything a company will do with their produced gases if it is not to send it to NLNG in Bonny?

BPaints is a consistent quality dividend stock.
I used to have it as a cash cow.
Realised how illiquid it is when I was divesting from it.
Same with NPMFB.
Dividend hunters take note.

Our foreign stock pick for the season is JMIA (Jumia) popularly referred to as the African amazon.

You are right sir, seeng at at 6.25 last week was really tempting,I also used to have phobia for illiquid stocks, until i read about an old investors view(Anmol Sekhri) about them,he classified them as a 'treasure trove'.As long as they are excellent business and one is investing in them for the long term,

MARKET GUIDE FOR 16 DEC 2019
Nigeria market likely to open in a sober mood today. Bears have the upper hand, but fibNodes turning point of 26,472.75 is a level to watch.

MSCI still in the market.

Our cannabis watch is telling us to wait as shown below.

Long term, does not necessarily mean forever. Cos nothing lasts forever.Bulls never last forever, neither does bears.
One thing we must realize is market always come in cycles.what one needs to do is to take advantage during periodic corrections
I guess you were so comfortable with those stocks and were not doing periodic check and rebalancing from time to time.
Probably you should check when these stocks are gradually becoming overvalued by checking its PE ratio and comparing the Div yield when you bought and when you start feeling uncomfortable with the stocks

That is Nigeria for you, they will be blaming the president while on their own they will not do their bit always waiting for the last minute to act. They knew this thing already but someone was somewhere sleeping waiting to be told, always reactive than proactive!
