You see why I prefer Xhaka, at least he’ll still foul his man than to let him go + he’s got positional awareness.

My logic was about picking the lesser evil btwn the two. But u guys were shouting “yoot” can’t be worse than Xhaka.

Guendouzi na better weak link for this midfield abeg!

A midfielder is expected to go into the path of an attacking opposition, prevent them from having a go at his defence, Guendouzi has done exactly opposite that in this game
they will bring pass stats most of which were between him and the CBs to rate him.

I still insist on the youths playing, smith had more impact on the game compare to ozil all season. Apart from guen our youths learn from correction and try to improve example was willock

i’m not against playing youth, but against playing them blindly just cas the senior guys ain’t performing as expected. Play those that have earned their place e.g Martinellli and blend them with some senior players for balance.

That's exactly what I was saying if you notice we didn't complain about the attack position just the midfield and defence

Ljunberg telling the board to make decision fast, local man cannot cope with these useless players attitude and madness grin
Honestly we better sell off 90% of these useless players before we get a new coach no body can work with them

I think its obvious we have just one decent midfielder in the mould of Torriera. Xhaka is just not good enough for Arsenal and any other top club in the league.
Guendouzi is at best a bench player who should only be introduced when we are in a comfortable lead to come on and help us extend the lead or maintain a balanced game till the final whistle. I didn't mention Willock because I don't rate him. He's not shown any reason why he should be considered in any role in that middle. I believe bringing in a big guy this January to partner Torriera will serve as a palliative measure and trying Luiz once in a while in the middle won't be a bad thing. At least he can help with his long passes which Xhaka seem not be getting right again and he also knows when to close down an opposition which Xhaka has refused to do.

As regards our defense, I think these guys are just not good enough. A washed out Luiz, non-ball-playing Sokratis and always confused Chambers won't get us anywhere. We will keep conceding no matter how many goals the forward players can produce. I believe letting Mustafi go this January and bringing in a decent CB to partner Holding in that back line would be a reasonable thing to do.

I think the team should plan for life after Ozil. He's never been the same since Sanchez left. He's like a worker that can't be sacked, hence no motivating factor to spur him own. We need to get someone who has hunger and desires to excel.

We all know the club will not splash cash during January transfer window, but If we can at least solve these two positions January , we can build on it by finishing well in the league which can then attract decent players come the end of the season.

In summary Emery wasted 3 transfer windows.

I don't want to be talking about that guy abeg ! Each time somebody mentions his name, that his pitiful face just comes to memory. It just look as if he killed something inside those guys. That Xhaka wey still dey position to play shot and long passes before just turn useless.

I sincerely believe that our current crop of players can do better than they are now under the right manager. Man to man we are not worse than the likes of Sheffield, Wolves or even Leicester. See how Everton is picking up under Ferguson.

Our players just need a strong coach who can reformat their brains and give them the right formations that can suit their abilities.

By the way, all these calls for Luiz to play as a dm, I hope you guys will not come back and complain about how shiit he is in that position.

Exactly. Let's see him play there even if it's just one game. At least we've seen Chambers playing RB and CB this season. What's the essence of having a player that can play 2 roles when u play him strictly in one of the roles and refuse to have him help out in the other role when it's obvious we are lacking there?

Another panick decision IMO
The truth is we need a long time project, arteta can't give us that he will surely follow his cheque book boss lifestyle instead of grooming youngsters.
Ajax coach or Eddie Howe should be leading the role

Getting from bad to worse for arsenal ATM, that stupid ozil will rather talk off pitch instead of concentrating on football.
They should just fire the guy instead of losing fanbase in China.
