Helenbims: You have to wait for 6 months for reapplication. You need to carry your university along in the visa processing as they must send a confirmation of your name to the embassy. Also your statement of account (balance) might be another hinderance to your visa. You can contact me for more details. (Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share) |

I presumed he stayed in the slum part of Istabnul (probably Aksaray and met people who ain’t doing well here). I live in Turkey, teach English and obviously earn far beyond the amount stated above. No or few places in the world has free and boyant economy, everyone needs to struggle and think outside the box for survival. Honestly, i tire for the guy wey spend only 8 days and know Turkey more than those of us who have been here for long. People spew a lot of thrash online. Turkey is a beautiful country far ahead of Nigeria in many ways. Turkey is certainly not the best country in the world, but cannot be compared to Nigeria. fispet2009: 1 Like |

1. No, as a Nigerian you are not recognized as a native speaker(UK, US, Australia), so your certificates from Nigeria won't help you, unless you studied English. 2. Generally that's what is required to get a stable English teaching job at most institutions- language schools and conventional schools. Some language schools do accept teachers without language certificates though, but you may run into problems such as sudden lay offs and late salary payment- you may be owed for months. Most established language schools usually require the language teaching certificate. 3. How easy? I can only speak about Ankara. It's neither easy nor hard. You may need to know the right people, especially Africans that are into teaching in one form or another. Istanbul is larger, so you would expect a higher demand for teachers, so perhaps you stand a better chance getting an English teaching job there without a language certificate. Language school's pay per hour. 15-30 TL generally. Traditional school's pay monthly salaries in the range 3000-5000TL. If you have the Language certificate, you could be earning close to or over 5000TL. Note that I have not considered international schools. 4. It's a No for traditional schools. They usually require you to work full time. For language schools, you usually get paid per hour (accumulated over a month), and they have different schedules that suit different classes/levels of people, so you may only apply for periods compatible with your undergraduate program's timetable. I leave you to convert the money to dollars yourself. Do not measure the actual worth of the mentioned amounts by converting to Naira. The cost of living here is probably more than double that of Nigeria, even in Ankara- I understand Istanbul is more expensive. You need to also come with funds that can sustain you for months, as you may not get the job as soon as you arrive. Note that my entire submission is mostly from the perspective of someone who resides in Ankara. This is also a general consideration, you may get lucky and beat the odds. But I strongly advise you not to count on luck. Ijomobi: 3 Likes |

Re: Turkey Visa Application Delay by Dejoe2019: 9:41pm On Dec 17, 2019 |
E-visa is applicable if you already have an American visa or Schengen visa on your passport. In that case, you do not need to go to Turkish Embassy in Nigeria. Just apply from your room and travel. google it iyaaliyah: |

I want to ask a question, I applied for tourism visa some months ago and the application was not successful, now I want to apply for student visa...am about to pay the acceptance deposit which is 1000 use but...I want to confirm whether the previous application may affect this application? Won't they deny me? Please I want to confirm this before I pay the acceptance deposit so that I won't just waste my money because the fee is non refundable. Kindly please help and advice the guru in the house. Thanks quote author=fispet2009 post=84861878] You have to wait for 6 months for reapplication.
