I finally met my Hon. today. He said what they do is collect CV and if there is any slot one will be contacted. I submitted my CV to his Secretary. I pray something positive comes out of it.

Getting recommendation letter and submitting CV which is the best?

I will still try out my Senator in January.

I would suggest recommendation letter to submitting CV to their office. People come to their office daily for jobs instead of discharging you rudely they tell you no job for now and ask you to submit your cv with their secretary pending when slots is out but when slot is out they give it to any person present in their office at that moment.

The best shot is to verify when any agency is recruiting go to their office plead with them to give you a recommendation letter to submit to the agency.
