Funds didn't come from NN's pockets nor were they recipients of the purchase.

NN are only in the matter because of our Firearms law and their expertise.

You guys don't bother to carry out basic research.

The contract, signed off by the Federal Executive Council in December 2017, would have seen the contractor, HSLi, net $195 million in exchange for an undisclosed number of special mission aircraft, special mission helicopters and 12 fast intervention vessels for the Nigerian Navy.

So how can you receive a vessel from a contract that was terminated??

Secondly nowhere in your entire article does it mention any ships that were bought from de hoop shipyards.

Your article literally has nothing to do with DB Abuja and DB Lagos.

So how does this prove the DB Abuja is for the Navy. Are you trying to be funny?

There is no navy naming nomenclature that has DB, its either NNS or nothing

1, it was terminated, yes, and has been reinstated.

The article clearly states special mission vessel would be purchased for the navy.

It clearly states in this link that it's going to be used as a special mission vessel.

Deep blue project and Buying a special purpose vessel for the Navy ain't the same. you're not getting your facts straight.According to some of the links you posted the Nigeria navy was to buy vessels from an Israeli company buy this DB ships ain't Israeli made.Thats one mistake you're making

So the contract was terminated on the 16 December 2019 then reinstated yet the DB Abuja was received on the 13th of December?? Does that sound right to you?

Yes it does state that(but the contract was terminated unfortunately) but it has nothing to do with DB Abuja and DB lagos which are not Nigerian Navy ships

Apart from whining like a biitch, what do you contribute, nothing.

The link clearly states DB Abuja would be used as a special mission vessel.

The premium times report clearly states the navy would get a special mission vessel from the ministry of transport.

For those interested in less fantasies
A delegation of navy and other government officials has welcomed the vessel. Both Shipyard De Hoop and owner Blue Octagon are proud of this important milestone in the Deep Blue development project.

That slowpoke will not listen. He will clutch to a PremiumTimes report because he has little clue of how the Navy works and is happy to win an argument to show his grannie.

The larger project (Deep Sea whatever) is not a Ministry of Defence project, however due to its terrain and scope and limits of the Departments (Fisheries included) joined to the the project, it is extended to the Navy. The Navy's role in it is to supply expertise and manning but its maintenance, staffing etc belongs to Ministry of Transport/NIMASA

Worst shyt is that the DB is basically an offshore Tug/Supply Vessel, but the enthusiast bum is turned on with "special mission".
