Congress does the inquiry and impeach then send articles of impeachment to the Senate for trial and they will serve as jurors.

In a trial, you call witnesses and the Republicans are refusing to call fact witnesses because they will have no choice under oath but to tell the truth and that truth will be the end of Donald Trump.

There is overwhelming evidence that Trump committed impeachable act's which is why he has refused to even come forward with requested documents that ought to exonerate him nor send all those that are party to this scheme to even appear before the Senate where the Republicans are the majority because the outcome will lead to him being removed from office.

You can't have a trial without calling witnesses and even if you committed no crime, you won't ignore coming for your own trial which is the only opportunity you have to clear your name and provide evidences that proves your innocence and failure to even show up for trial where the jurors are your friend and your partners in crime like the Senate Republicans shows you are afraid of even your own shadow because you as as guilty as hell.
