After the IPO, price shot up to 150+

People called it manipulation. That the holders are hoarding and that was why price went high after IPO.

Oya nauw, see the price.

This is serious! Powerful mtn. May be they want the rest of us to board the train now. For the deep pockets. Because many of us are heavily loaded already.

The challenge I have is that the interest income will be badly affected going into the year 2020 if the CBN continues with the madness playing out in the fixed income space. It is good for serious accumulation.

2019 YEAR END – FORECAST RESULT FOR VITAFOAM/COMMENT ON CLOSE OF MARKET 19 DECEMBER 2019
From our newsletter this is our forecast for the result expected from Vitafoam, the actual result will be released soon and we can use it to assess how close is the actual result to the recent trend on which our forecast is based.

Market closing on the bearish side today has send caution to the market, I will not like to be an aggressive buyer in this market except I seen an exceptionally cheap stock as per my technical indicators/fibNodes.

Oga Oracle. I think I was a bit hasty to conclude without hearing what you're seeing. so can you please share with us what you are seeing (Is it FA, TA, macro or 3 of then together?)

From my own end, what I see is that volume has been reducing since last week since volume precedes momentum, so it's likely to shed some kobos till its support @8. This will likely increase volume.

I expect your feedback

The effect will be felt in 2020.

They have over N5 billion in Treasury Bill and FG Bonds, they can diversify the funds into real estate especially hostels when the money market investment matures. They planned having a hostel at Lagos Business School

If you accumulate UACN, you will get pro rate approx 100:60:30 where 100 represents as example (100,000 units of UACN , 60,000 UPDC & 30,000 REIT).

hope this helps.

Where are these free UPDC and REIT shares that will be given to UACN shareholders coming from?
Who is giving up his/her units to dash others or are they going to create extra units of UPDC and REIT

Same way shareholders of UBA were given shares of United Capital, Africa Prudential Registrars and Afriland Properties shares some years ago.

The same way in the sense that UACN is the parent company of both UPDC and UPDC-REIT, just as UCAP and AFRIPRUD were subsidiaries of UBA.
"Not the same way" in the sense that UCAP and AFRIPRUD weren't listed then as UPDC and UPDC-REIT are now.

For UBA, new units of shares of UCAP and APR were created to be issued to uba shareholders.
I know UACN is the parents company of both UPDC and REIT but I also understand that you can not pluck units of shares from the air. It is either they create new one or some unit holders are given up their shares.

Zenith bank is one of tfhe major stocks on the Nse for retail investors who are necessarily concerned about factors capable of influencing its price appreciation and rate of dividend yield especially at this crucial year end. I have read Nsempa to discover reasons that have been suggested by members for the recent and rather unending offloading of Zenith. Some opined that Jim is divesting to enter into agric, that efcc is forcing a major holder to a forced selloff and that a major holder is selling off to buy Access bank shares. Most of these are speculations which cannot be completely without basis. What I seek at this moment is the opinion of those who are very close to the market or have people close to the market can find out who is really offloading and for how long this is likely to persist? I remember when Guinness was going down uncontrollably a member informed us it was msci that was selling off and he even told us when the sell off ended. I would appreciate input from yok, mcy, dipolowo, oak and Intendy to mention a few.

You have nothing to loose. anything can happen in Nigeria. 2020 might just be the year of real estate boom. the pressure on housing deficit is overburdensome.
