teeebest:Sorry about your experience There was even no need going after them Just Thank God nothing happened to your kids. The reckless manner in which our police drive these days. Something similar happened to me few days ago, but in my case it was a convoy. There was a coaster bus at my front dancing on the road, they where at my back blowing siren & flashing light, for my mind, where una want make I enter? Their siren no let coaster bus hear my horn, as d coaster guy clear small, I just find a way to overtake him & give way for them. Police in this country need serious orientation. The way they do things at times is shocking 4 Likes 1 Share |

adsmaster: That’s where the beauty of a well thought out agreement comes into play. I don’t see why anybody would agree to forfeit all he/she has paid because you miss 1 or 2 payments. I’m not advocating for defaulting on payments, but life happens, sometimes beyond your control, everything needs to be factored into the agreement. 2 Likes |

HP is a risk worth taking provided the driver is prudent with money and already knows his onions in this business. If one can always remit 25k weekly on rentals and still have earnings to himself, why cant he do HP for same amount when the car can become his after some period? In any week of low earnings, one can always dip into his savings to balance up. I realise we dont like risks or entering legally backed agreement. Like Izzou advised, he should just be sure the car is in good shape. It is a bad business taking an HP car to mechanic everytime. adsmaster: 2 Likes |

izzou:2.5m doesn't sound any good for a Nigeria used car that is worth 1.3 or less for 2.5. guy no go there oo. Beat the price to 2m. Am sure it's the same guy from Agege I turned down his offer cause of bad morrow, bad car stereo and bad shocks and the steering is strong to turn and also the hand break is not working he said I will fix them myself 2 Likes |

peeps4u: While I agree with you on the bolded, HP is much more than that On rentals, the partner has a fair share(if not larger) of responsibilities concerning maintenance of the vehicle, but on HP, the Driver is solely responsible for everything. If my compressor is bad on rentals, I call my partner. If it's bad on HP, I fix it myself and I must still remit that week As Eizenburg said, the AGREEMENT is most important in HP. Even on rentals, before I ask you if your car is good, I must ask you your terms. Also, it may not sound fair, but I think A DOWN PAYMENT for HP is best. It makes the period lesser, and also makes the goal more realistic for the driver Most Nigerian used cars you see on HP started as Toks. But when one driver starts and he can't finish, he dumps it. Another picks it up, and the cycle continues Having a down payment will help anyone entering HP. It's just my opinion sha 1 Like |

Prince3: Two million? Can you put a car you bought for 1.6 for 2 million on HP? Just asking |
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Prince3(m): 7:14pm On Dec 19, 2019 |
izzou:What do u mean? A car that you bought for 2.6 and has been working on the road for 2years or more and u expect me to still buy it on HP for 2.5 because the owner bought it 2.6 2years ago. Are you listening to ursef atall. I rather go for toks 3m even 3.5 on high purchase but never on Nigeria used that was dump by an Uber driver before for some reasons I don't even know, only God knows how many Uber drivers has used it before me.... 5 Likes |

izzou: Well you really didn't ask me but yes I will put it in 2m-2.3m after more than 18months on ehailing. Let no one deceive anybody, no matter the amount you bought a car, once its a naija use, the price is halfed. Abi no be these ones wey don visit Ayobo, Badagry, Mowe and Ogba? 6 Likes

izzou:What has 3moths gat to do with a Nigeria used car. The guy said Nigeria used car and I gave my reply based on that. And please if the guy himself mention 3months used maybe I skipped that part. Or are you the owner of the vehicle and it's the vehicle just 3months or I missed the part where he mentioned that the car is just 3months. Please I need your reply. Sorry if I sound deflected as u claim... 4 Likes |

Prince3: Oh I don't own the car And 2.5 million for a Nigerian used car on HP is not bad. The condition of the car is most important, not whether it's naija used or Tokunboh. To each his own, but I'm sure a lot of us screaming 2 million won't do it when you're in that position 1 Like |

izzou: Alright go and get a car that has been used by 3diffrent drivers for 2years+ for 2.5 million in the name of hirepurchase and pay for another 1year and half making it almost 4years and see the difference between "had I know and I always knew" . If its 2months or 3months is ok... So check my quote well I never talked about 3months old Naija used. I am trying so hard not to insult anyone on this forum. Seriously... But guy don't quote me again oo. 2 Likes |

tojahh:Guy you need to finish the story for the benefit of those that wants to write a book on their experience on ehailing. I’m not surprise at the age bro, during my NYSC and after I’ve seen and lived with Barrons, traffickers and addicts most of them are from responsible homes, young, intelligent and good looking. In the end I really don’t know the pleasure they get from this thing call drugs. Most of them really want to quit but it’s so difficult I just pity them. This present generation enh I wonder what the world will look like in 15-20 yrs to come 2 Likes 1 Share |

tojahh:Are you surprised? That's why they behave the way they do, it's really disturbing. Government needs to be serious about it, go to yaba and see a lot of them that come for rehabilitation. Girls now smoke, drink and do drugs more than men these days. Imaging one was asking me a funny question one morning. Immediately she came out, Rider: is it possible for a man to have sex with you and you won't know? Me: dumfounded, sorry I don't get it. It's your body besides I am not a lady so how would I know? Rider: both of us were high so I can't really explain what happened, we wanted to go to club but later got high and ...... Me: well I wasn't there so I can't tell what happened. Rider: it is a white man you know all these white men they can be funny. Me: okay. She kept mute, lowered the seat. I was just imaging what and what that could have happened that night. 3 Likes 1 Share |
