IPOB staged a peaceful protest in Owerri, the Imo state capital. Hundreds of young men wearing white singlets paraded through some major streets in Owerri, armed with Biafran flags, singing freedom songs and demanding a referendum. They were hailed by passing motorists and pedestrians alike. Sometimes I wonder why IPOB protests are always peaceful but turns violent when the security forces arrive 9 Likes 1 Share
