Nigeria busy building dry ports but abandoning wet ports along Calabar and Port-harcourt but really who cursed Nigeria
sorry Eastern ports are not deep enough and the resources and cost needed for dredging is out of this world.
Most of these vessels are used to the Western ports and lastly
Insecurities in the South South and the rate of piracy around the gulf of guinea and mostly in Rivers will make the Eastern Port dead on arrival

......do we really need this port? What happen to other ports in Nigeria? Why can't expand the ones in Warri, Calabar, PH, ikorodu (I think) and others in such that trucks will just go in and pick consignments and deliver to their destinations?

You be Yoruba boy indeed. That's why you are blind to see the completion of the Lagos Ibadan rail line which would facilitate movement of containers from Apapa to Ibadan for onward movement to other parts of the country.

The fact that you bear a Yoruba name doesn't mean you're ab Omoluabi. You must be one of the Akotiletas littering Yoruba land.

No wonder gambling has ruined your destiny.

They’ve taken the project from this man that Ladoja handed it to.

Very good development. I need to look for land to buy around that area. Lots of land and fortunately the lands are quite cheap for now.

True talk....but what area in Ibadan is it sef?

Where do you think the new Lagos-IBADAN rail is headed? Inland Container Depot(ICD).

When some of us support this government, we see a govt that has plan. Solid Plans that links with each other. Not some disjointed plans.

Gradually when all the plans they’re painstakingly implementing starts manifesting, the scale at which Nigeria will develop will amaze the world. All that is needed is continuity and the next admin is very important.

This rail plan na borrow borrow continuation from Obasanjo years, which was abandoned by Yar'Adua and then revived and paid for by Jonathan.
Don't let yourself get carried away by the lies of the Alliance of Past/Present Crooks, APC.

It's all politics jor, warri port was functioning till during the time of obasanjo. Then security in Niger Delta was worst yet the port was functioning. I can tell u that insecurities in South West and Niger Delta is basically the same thing. Lagos is not any safer than warri. The reason these warri and pH port is not working is purely politics.

As much as I do not like NK's approach to secession, most of his predictions & claims that the FG wants to deliberately undermine the economy of the SS/SE through its policies & programs are nothing but a reality.
Why would the FG dole out N37b to build a dry port when the seaports in Onne, Calabar, PH & Warri are all lying fallow?. It's time for the people of SS to wake up. The roads leading to the PH refinery, NNPC, Federal Ocean Terminal (FOT Onne) are practically impassable yet the FG is planning to spend such a whopping amount in a State that contributes nothing to our GDP.
Na God go punish Satan
